Leftists Accuse Pete Hegseth of Honoring Russia After Seeing His Choice of Tie at Trump-Zelenskyy Bilateral Summit – Then Another Photo Emerges Which Blows Up Their Theory | The Gateway Pundit
Leftists are so obsessed with the Trump collusion hoax that they are seeing ‘connections’ in the most ridiculous of places, including the choice of tie that War Secretary Pete Hegseth wore yesterday. Not surprisingly, the latest conspiracy theory regarding Trump-Russia backfired.
As The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported, a high-stakes meeting Friday involving President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took place in the Cabinet Room of the White House, a departure from the typical Oval Office meetings that the President holds with foreign leaders.
This meeting also came after Trump repeatedly suggested that he would provide Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine for offensive purposes by selling them to NATO.
However, liberals were particularly triggered by Hegseth’s choice of clothing. The War Secretary decided to wear a red, white, and blue tie to the meeting, the colors of the U.S. flag and a handful of other nations, including Russia.
Naturally, leftists promptly assumed Hegseth was honoring Russia and trolling Zelensky to his face.

The disrespect of the American administration is apalling.
Hegseth wore THIS tie.
And tRUmp delayed the meeting with Zelenskyy to listen to music with Andrea Bocelli (who is a well-known Ukraine supporter)

I don’t believe for a second this is accidental or that “he was actually wearing the colors of the US flag”.

But another user dug up Hegesth wearing this EXACT SAME TIE when President Trump met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu earlier this year.
“People claiming Pete wore a Russian tie,” the user wrote. I despise hegseth just as much as anyone else. But the whole tie thing is nothing.
“I found him wearing that Same tie in other pics. The 2nd Pic here is of when bibi Netanyahu visited,” he added. “There’s plenty of reason to dislike Hegseth but this issue here is stupid.”

Billionaire Investor Quits Salesforce Foundation Over CEO’s Support of President Trump’s Efforts to Protect Americans in Crime-Riddle Blue Cities | The Gateway Pundit
The Gateway Pundit reported that liberal Marc Benioff the founder and CEO of Salesforce who has been extremely critical of President Trump in the past, is now he is calling for Trump to send the National Guard to San Francisco.
While Benioff may be overcoming Trump Derangement Syndrome and putting the safety of Americans first, unfortunately for him, his friends on the left are not so forgiving. In fact, they’re outraged and feel like he has betrayed them.
Politico reports:
Benioff, speaking to The New York Times in an interview published Friday, said he was “all for” deploying Guard troops with the goal of fighting crime in the city. In the same interview, Benioff said Trump is “doing a great job” as president.
“I fully support the president,” Benioff told the Times.
Benioff’s support for Trump and Guard deployment cuts against his years of lavish giving and full-throated support for Democratic causes, even as other tech titans shifted toward Trump.
One such unforgiving friend/colleague is longtime Democrat donor Ron Conway.
Conway is a prominent Silicon Valley venture capitalist who recently resigned from the board of the Salesforce Foundation, as making cities safer appears to upset him.
Conway cited “a dramatic ideological rift” with Benioff over his “political shift” and “comments regarding the deployment of National Guard troops to San Francisco.”
According to the San Francisco Standard, Conway submitted his resignation in a heated email sent to Benioff Thursday morning that has been obtained by The Standard.
“It saddens me immensely to say that with your recent comments, and failure to understand their impact, I now barely recognize the person I have so long admired,” Conway’s email to Benioff said.
“I have expressed candidly to you, repeatedly, in recent days, that I am shocked and disappointed by your comments calling for an unwanted invasion of San Francisco by federal troops, and by your willful ignorance and detachment from the impacts of the ICE immigration raids of families with NO criminal record, efforts to gerrymander elections, attacks on freedom of speech, and other unlawful policies,” Conway’s message continued.
********
“We have deep gratitude for Ron Conway and his incredible contributions to the Salesforce Foundation Board for over a decade,” the spokesperson said.
Joe Hoft reported that Salesforce is a major funder to the Deep State funding arm, intent on destroying America, according to a recent report.
“Salesforce’s funneling of funds through Tides is precisely how corporate philanthropy can feed the protest-industrial complex,” said Seamus Bruner, the director of research at the Government Accountability Institute.
From 2022 to 2024, the Salesforce Foundation, the company’s 501(c)(3) offshoot, directly gave various Tides entities a total of $27.4 million in grant money, according to tax filings, though those donations were earmarked for a wide range of vaguely described causes, such as “employment opportunities,” “general support,” “youth development,” and “solving homelessness.”
The absurdity of two billionaires arguing over making their community safer for the “little people” is almost too absurd to bear.

Jesse Kelly on New York Mayoral Candidate Zohran Mamdani – “As Much as I Despise That Dirty Little Communist, he is Good at This” (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
Jesse Kelly of “The First” discussed Socialist New York Mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani with Inez Stepman from the Independent Women’s Forum.
The conversation opens with a video of Mamdani rambling on about various socialist policies, including public land ownership, defunding the police, and his push to elect more Socialist politicians.
“I am so sad for the city I love so much,” Kelly said.
“Inez, I know it’s not your style, but make me feel better, he’s not gonna win, right?” Kelly asked.
“It looks like he’s gonna win in part because his opponents really couldn’t get their act together as is so often the case,” Stepman said.
“He is the zeitgeist of the new left. He reflects his voters very well,” Stepman continued.
“As much as I despise that dirty little communist, he is good at this,” Kelly said.
“He’s charismatic, he speaks well, he’s got that big stupid fake smile,” Kelly continued.
“I don’t believe he is charismatic. People keep telling me this, and maybe it’s just one of those things that when you hate somebody’s views so much, you can’t objectively analyze them,” Stepman said.
Stepman explained she felt that although Mamdani really believes in Socialism, his interactions with people are fake.
“He’s being real in a sense about his views but the way that he talks to people to me is very like off-putting, and inauthentic and fake,” Stepman continued.
“I think he is the essence of the progressive base of the Democratic party and that’s a base that’s extremely frustrated right now and looking for an outlet,” Stepman said.
“They are looking for outlets, whether that’s celebrating political violence or electing Zohran Mamdani,” Stepman explained.
“Unfortunately, those of us who live in New York city are going to have to suffer because essentially, the left’s base is having a temper tantrum,” Stepman said.

No Kings, Says Massachusetts Democrat Who’s Been in Elected Office Since 1973 (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
The protesters weren’t the only senior citizens at the ‘No Kings’ protests today. In Massachusetts, Senator Ed Markey was out in full force, yelling about the fact that we don’t have kings in the United States, as if we didn’t know that.
The ironic part is that Ed Markey has been in elected office in Massachusetts since 1973.
From his Wikipedia page:
Edward John Markey (born July 11, 1946) is an American politician serving as the junior United States senator from the state of Massachusetts, a seat he has held since 2013. A member of the Democratic Party, he served 20 terms (18 full, two partial) as the U.S. representative for Massachusetts’s 7th congressional district from 1976 to 2013. Before that, he was a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives from 1973 to 1976. When Senator Patrick Leahy retired in 2023, Markey became the dean of New England’s Congressional delegation.
In 2013, after John Kerry was appointed United States Secretary of State, Markey was elected to serve out the remainder of Kerry’s Senate term in a 2013 special election. Markey defeated Stephen Lynch in the Democratic primary and Republican Gabriel E. Gomez in the general election. He was elected to a full term in the Senate in 2014.
Look at this old fool, talking about kings:
No Kings in Newton. No Kings in Massachusetts. No Kings in America. pic.twitter.com/5AqsDc0tSL
— Ed Markey (@EdMarkey) October 18, 2025
Do you know why Markey was really at the protest today? Because he is about to face a younger challenger in Massachusetts and he needed to show the base that he’s still with them.
From CBS News in Boston:
Keller: Seth Moulton running against Ed Markey in Massachusetts Senate race is all about age
Massachusetts Congressman Seth Moulton officially announced Wednesday he’s running against 79-year-old Sen. Ed Markey in the 2026 U.S. Senate race.
“I just don’t think we can wait six years for new leadership in our party,” Moulton, 46, a Democrat who represents the Sixth District, north of Boston, told WBZ-TV. “The status quo is not working, and our party leaders are clinging to that old playbook that’s gotten us two terms of Donald Trump.”…
Moulton acknowledged Wednesday that “Senator Markey and I agree on a lot of the issues.” However, Moulton added, “He’s been in elected office for half a century. That’s longer than I’ve been alive. And I just believe it’s time for a new generation of leadership in Washington.”
Markey, like many others in Congress, needs to retire.
We don’t need lectures about kings from people who have been living off government jobs for more than half a century.
Megyn Kelly Says She May Run for President if AOC Does: ‘There’s No Way This Person Can Run for President or be President’ (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
It’s probably safe to say that Megyn Kelly is not a fan of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
During a recent episode of her podcast, Kelly suggested that she might run for president if AOC does, in an effort to keep AOC out of the White House. This is from a few days ago, but still completely relevant.
Megyn starts out the segment by bashing AOC for complaining about the red-pilling of young men in America, correctly saying that Democrats pushed young men away from their party.
Kelly is probably being a little tongue-in-cheek when she says she could run for president, but who knows these days? Crazier things have happened.
Transcript via Real Clear Politics:
MEGYN KELLY: There was indeed one party that radicalized today’s young men, and it was yours, madam [AOC]. It was yours. It was yours who blamed them for literally everything just because they were born and born male. The nerve. Your side demonized them at every turn and laughed when they ever dared to express any actual pain at the circumstances that they were forced into through no fault of their own.
You are absolutely disgusting to now try to turn it around and say it is the Republican Party which came to their rescue that quote “radicalized them.” You don’t know any young Republican men, I guarantee you right now, that woman knows zero Republican men, because none of them would be seen with her. And for her to come out there and try to turn what she and her brethren did to them for YEARS around it all, never mind to then blame it on the party that actually stood up for them. Is the height of gall.
That is infuriating, and the Republicans want to treat trans people as subhuman? It’s your side, YOUR SIDE, that wants to take non trans children, perfectly healthy children who may be going through normal emotional distress, and literally give them double mastectomies so that you can feel better about who you are…
F*** that woman. If she runs for president, I might run… I’ll find my way into the ticket somehow. There’s no way this person can run for president or be president. No.

Far Left Actor John Cusack Makes Incognito Appearance at ‘No Kings’ Protest, Complains About Trump’s ‘Masked Goons’ (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
John Cusack, the actor who appeared in a number of successful films in the 1980s and beyond, has become a far left online activist in recent years.
He made an appearance at the ‘No Kings’ protest in Chicago on Saturday.
The funny thing is that Cusack went out of his way to criticize who he called Trump’s ‘masked goons’ while he himself was wearing what was essentially a disguise.
Like all things for the left, it’s just different when they do it.
From Mediaite, via Yahoo News:
Actor John Cusack had a message for President Donald Trump and his “masked goons” on behalf of his hometown of Chicago: “Go to hell!”
Cusask, during a brief interview with CNN on Saturday at the No Kings rally in Chicago, blasted the president — something he has enjoyed doing frequently over the last decade. In particular, The High Fidelity star told reporter Whitney Wild he was upset about Trump sending Border Patrol and ICE agents to the city to deport illegal immigrants.
“Everyone knows the score, right? The authoritarians divide and conquer and they create an ‘other’ and then they pick on it, pick on the person, harass them, jail them, and that’s all used as a direction so they can steal as much as they can [and] maintain power,” Cusack said. “We all know history. So, that’s what he’s doing, and we have masked goons roaming the streets, hiding their faces, abducting people.”
Cusack, in a different clip shared by CNN later, told the president to go to hell, before adding Trump was ignorant of Chicago’s liberal history.
See the clip below:
Naturally, there were other left wing celebrities at the protests as well.
From The Wrap:
A series of nationwide protests against the Trump administration kicked off Saturday morning, beginning in New York (after a smattering that took place in Europe in the day’s early hours) and concluding in Los Angeles. The protests drew the participation and support of several celebrities, including Mark Ruffalo and John Cusack.
Ruffalo first mentioned the protests Thursday, when he shared a video promoting NoKings.org. “WE the People – WE have the power and together WE will win! Check out this inspiring video and share it with your family, friends and neighbors to join one of the over 2,500 No Kings protests across our country this Saturday, October 18th,” Ruffao wrote on Instagram.
“Courage is contagious! Each of us have an important role to play in this historic moment by exercising our First Amendment rights of freedom of speech and peaceful protest.”
These people will do anything to remain relevant, especially now that the Hollywood system is collapsing.
‘World Turned Upside Down’ – British Surrender to Americans at Yorktown on This Day | The Gateway Pundit
The Revolutionary War began 250 years ago this year, but it would not be until over six years later, for all intents and purposes, that it came to an end with a victory over the British at Yorktown, Virginia, on Oct. 19, 1781.
The Americans under the leadership of Gen. George Washington had won precious few battles during the course of the Revolutionary War, but had carried the day at a few decisive points.
These included the battles of Trenton and Princeton in New Jersey in January 1776, when it had looked like the cause of American liberty was all but lost.
Then again, in October 1777, in Saratoga, New York, when the Continental Army prevailed over the Redcoats. It was that victory that convinced King Louis XVI of France to jump in on the side of America.
And it was a combined American and French force that defeated the British at Yorktown, which was the final major battle of the war.
Lord Charles Cornwallis made the mistake of encamping his Redcoats on the Yorktown peninsula near the coast of southern Virginia. The British General perceived little threat from Gen. Marquis de Lafayette’s smaller Continental Army contingent that had trailed him across the state.
However, the Frenchman fighting for the Americans saw Cornwallis’ strategic error of pinning himself inland with a body of water to his rear and sought to capitalize on it.
Lafayette ordered his men, now augmented with local militia, to guard the exits from Yorktown, and he quickly dispatched word to Washington, encamped near New York City. He wrote that if the general could reinforce him quickly, they might be able to capture all of Cornwallis’s Army.
As it happened, Washington had also received word through French General Rochambeau, also in the New York area, that 24 ships and 3,000 soldiers from his country under the leadership of Admiral Comte de Grasse were heading north from the West Indies and due to arrive in Virginia in September.
Washington saw everything coming together and wasted no time. The Continentals and Rochambeau’s French forces marched through New Jersey to Chesapeake Bay in Maryland. And from there, they embarked on ships to transit to the Yorktown Peninsula.
For almost seven long and arduous years, Washington’s greatest victory had been staying in the fight. He had known only two victories in seven major engagements with the enemy.
With the help of the French, the American leader believed he could land a crippling, perhaps war-ending blow.
The prospects of victory on land increased greatly, with word that de Grasse’s fleet defeated the British Navy at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay on Sept. 5. The British had been trying to reinforce Cornwallis’s forces.

Washington’s army arrived at Yorktown in late September, and, for the Americans and the French, it was time to lay siege. Washington ordered trenches to be dug around the perimeter of Yorktown.
The Allied cannonade against Cornwallis’ position began in early October, and the Redcoats quickly sought refuge outside the town, close to the York River.

American and French batteries kept pounding the British positions for eight days straight, at which point Washington ordered the capture of reinforced positions closer to Cornwallis.
The combined forces succeeded on the night of Oct. 14, taking Redoubts 9 and 10, making the surrender of the approximately 9,000-strong British contingent all but inevitable. The combined American and French forces numbered nearly 20,000.

On Oct. 17, a lone Redcoat bearing a white flag appeared atop a British parapet. “Cease fire,” echoed up and down the Allied lines. Washington and his men rejoiced. The 13-day siege ended, and the triumph was for the Continentals and the French.

Following the signing of the peace treaty in 1783, Washington wrote in a farewell letter to the Continental Army, “The disadvantageous circumstances on our part, under which the war was undertaken, can never be forgotten.”
“The singular interpositions of Providence in our feeble condition were such, as could scarcely escape the attention of the most unobserving; while the unparalleled perseverance of the armies of the United States, through almost every possible suffering and discouragement for the space of eight long years, was little short of a standing Miracle,” he contended.
Washington concluded by saying to the troops that he would be praying to the “God of Armies” for them.
He wrote, “May ample justice be done them here; and may the choicest of Heaven’s favors both here and hereafter attend those, who under the divine auspices have secured innumerable blessings for others.”

Senator Markwayne Mullin Weighs in on “No Kings” Protest and Their Sponsorship By Communist Party USA (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
Senator Markwayne Mullin was on Fox News on Saturday with host Kayleigh McEnany to discuss the “No Kings” protest and its ties to Communist Party USA.
“First, I want to talk about this so-called ‘No Kings’ protest. Your team exposed this, and you found a poster, apparently, they are touting the communists?” McEnany asked.
“If you look at their sponsorship of the ‘No Kings’ rally, it says CP USA, which is the Communist Party of the United States of America,” Mullin explained.
Senator Mullin explained that the “No Kings” protest is anti-American because of its ties to communism and its hatred for President Trump.
“There is a reason why Republicans are calling this an anti-American rally. It is exactly what it is,” Mullin said.
“You are protesting on the streets that President Trump made safe? You are protesting on the streets that President Trump has made it possible for you to actually walk outside?” Mullin explained.
“You are protesting President Trump who has secured the border, who has lowered inflation, who has brought down gas prices, who has had morale in the military at the highest it has been,” Mullin said.
“He’s brought home the hostages in Israel and yet you still see signs out there that says free Palestine? I mean, are you kidding?” Mullin continued.
“What are you exactly protesting other than your hatred towards President Trump and it is absolutely absurd, and you have the communist party that is sponsoring you?” Mullin continued.
“I want to play his remarks about this protest,” McEnany said regarding Senator Chuck Schumer’s comments.
“I will join the marchers to celebrate what makes this country so great,” Schumer said.
“So, he is joining the marchers sponsored by the communist party?” McEnany asked.
“Look who is leading the party today. You have a Socialist and a Marxist between Bernie Sanders and AOC,” Mullin explained.
“You have Chuck Schumer that is going to literally march in a parade led by the Communist party,” Mullin continued.

Ex-NFL Kicker Jay Feely Vies for Trump’s Endorsement in Arizona Congressional Race, but His History of Trump Bashing, Praise for Obama and Clinton May Catch Up | The Gateway Pundit
Former NFL kicker Jay Feely is currently running for Congress in Arizona’s 5th Congressional District, selling himself as the MAGA Republican choice for voters, but many are starting to notice his history of attacking Trump and supporting Democrats like Hillary and Bill Clinton.
Feely is a 14-year NFL veteran who played kicker during a four-year stint with the Arizona Cardinals before ending his career with the Chicago Bears.
Now, he’s setting his sights on Rep. Andy Biggs’ seat amid the lawmaker’s plans to retire and run for Arizona Governor in 2026.
Feely is currently propping himself up on Fox News as the pro-Trump choice
But his record shows a stark contrast with his conveniently newfound message.
And, as noted by the Post Millennial, Feely is backed by House RINOs, including Rep. Tom Emmer (MN), Rep. Richard Hudson (NC), and Rep. Juan Ciscomani (AZ), who seek to replace House Freedom Caucus member Andy Biggs with a moderate. “If Feely gains more support from Making Effective Republicans, Rep. Emmer’s PAC, First in Freedom PAC, Rep. Hudson’s PAC, Defending The American Dream, Rep. Ciscomani’s PAC, and the Freedom Caucus, they may need an endorsement from President Trump to hold the seat,” the Post Millennial reports.
Meanwhile, his top opponent right now, Daniel Keenan, has pledged to join the House Freedom Caucus and fight for Trump’s agenda in Congress.
Feely has been vocal about his disdain for President Trump since day one, while he praised Obama and Clinton. As noted by the Arizona Daily Independent, Feely, who sells himself as a supporter of Trump since “before it was cool,” actually supported Jeb Bush, John Kasich, and Marco Rubio in public endorsements ahead of the 2016 primary.
In 2016, after Trump decided as the GOP nominee for President, Feely wrote on X that he was “disillusioned” by the political landscape:
When Trump was running for reelection in 2020, Feely, after watching the first debate between Trump and Joe Biden, described the moment as “painful to watch,” later adding in a condemnation of Trump that he “wasn’t proud of anyone.”
Aside from that, Feely has had nothing but praise for Barack Obama and Bill Clinton. During Obama’s final year in office, he described him as “the best orator we have had in the Oval Office.”
He has always had nothing but good things to say about Bill Clinton and the Clinton Foundation.
Even last year, he posed for a photo with his “old friend,” Slick Willy.
Recently, Feely has even attacked Trump and his supporters over January 6.
Last October, less than two weeks before the 2024 election, Feely appeared on a liberal KTAR podcast panel and secured his title as the politically correct candidate when he virtue-signaled and condemned Trump and his supporters’ “failure” on January 6. “He described January 6 as “a failure in leadership” and a huge mistake on the part of Trump and his supporters, making no mention of the documented proof that leftwing instigators and federal agents were in the crowd, causing the minimal violence that occurred. “It’s easy for me to say that,” he added.
He made no mention of then-speaker Nancy Pelosi or DC Mayor Muriel Bowser’s failure in turning down support from the National Guard, despite warnings of a potential Capitol breach. Instead, he took the easy way out and attacked Kamala Harris and Joe Biden for their total incompetence while in office.
He further advocated for mail-in voting, arguing that Republicans who vote by mail are more “educated” and that mail-in voting is “safe,” while refusing to push back on claims that a vote-counting process that exceeds two weeks is “just the way elections work.”
WATCH:
Trump has renewed his calls to get rid of mail-in ballots and electronic voting machines, before the 2026 midterm election. Trump announced he was going to get rid of mail-in voting and electronic election machines in August, stating, “ELECTIONS CAN NEVER BE HONEST WITH MAIL IN BALLOTS/VOTING, and everybody, IN PARTICULAR THE DEMOCRATS, KNOWS THIS. I, AND THE REPUBLICAN PARTY, WILL FIGHT LIKE HELL TO BRING HONESTY AND INTEGRITY BACK TO OUR ELECTIONS.”
Later, on the same network, Feely slammed Trump for pardoning January 6 political prisoners, comparing them to Black Lives Matter rioters.
WATCH:
The Gateway Pundit will continue to provide updates on this hotly contested House race.
No Kings Is Now The Biggest Protest Against A President In US History
Every president in the modern era has been protested. Sometimes the protests are small, like small groups on the side of the road as the presidential motorcade passes.
PoliticusUSA is 100% independent news and opinion. Support us by becoming a subscriber.
Sometimes the protests are big, like those against George W. Bush when the nation soured on the Iraq war.
There has never been a president who has been protested to the degree that Donald Trump has.
The Hands Off protest against Trump’s policies and cuts drew 3 million people in April 2025.
The first No Kings protest in June 2025 grew to 5 million people, and the growth has continued with the October 2025 protest.
MoveOn, one of the No Kings coalition partners, posted on X:
Our crowd count estimate from the No Kings coalition responsible for planning today’s event is 7 MILLION nationwide. 7 MILLION of you gathered across the country to peacefully protest today. 2 million more than the first No Kings action in June.
To put this number into context, No Kings has more doubled its number of protesters in 6 months.
Read more about why this is the biggest protest against a president below.
