I think that she’s in the stage that the cast and showrunners are in where they can’t be as candid as they would like to be. Amanda must be making shit up as she goes. The same way Ben says stupid things while trying to pretend Sherlock is straight.
Yeah, it drives me crazy when Ben does that!! But yeah - the sherlolly insertions, the wild and unfounded speculations about her character… no thank you!

A creepy stalker has been turning up at Benedict Cumberbatch’s house and leaving clues that would intrigue Sherlock Holmes himself.
The woman, thought to be an obsessed fan of the TV detective, has made several trips to the star’s home.
On
at least two occasions she left curious red ribbons – one tied to the
star’s car, the other fastened to a window of the house.
They are thought to be a reference to Arthur Conan Doyle’s original Sherlock Holmes novel.
But Cumberbatch, who lives in north London with his wife Sophie and baby son, was understandably concerned.
He called the Metropolitan Police.
And
the woman has now been issued with an official Police Information
Notice (PIN) notice over harassment – which forbids her from contacting
the actor.
The star has also stepped up security at the London
theatre where he is currently performing amid fears the woman may
instead visit him there.
Benedict, 39, has a legion of female admirers who dub
themselves Cumberbitches and are well known for their intense
fascination with him.
But sources say the actor felt this woman’s behaviour had crossed a line.
One said: “Benedict is used to people mobbing him wherever he goes and he’s a good sport about it.
“But this individual has taken things to the next level and there was no option but to pursue official action.
“Turning up at professional events is one thing, but arriving uninvited at the family home is quite another.
“It
might be that she thinks it’s harmless, but it does feel a bit
sinister. Leaving red ribbons is obviously a bit of a game, but it does
feel quite dark.”

I can’t believe this. I just can’t believe things have come to this. I hope the Cumberbatches stay safe.
What …the hell! That is more than a bit not good. Fans like this piss me off. It crosses a line and is so disrespectful. It emotionally hurts the actors they supposedly admire, then takes their feelings of comfort, security and privacy that they SHOULD feel in their home and shatters it. It also gives other fans a bad name, just stop :(
UGH. Poor Ben! Come on, people!! DON’T BE CRAZY. It’s just not that hard!!!!!! You don’t scream at people you admire, you don’t stalk them, you don’t go to their houses or harass their spouses or take pictures of their babies. It’s just not rocket science and it makes the rest of us look SO bad!
I think that Benedict knows that 99% of his fans aren’t like that, even if they are “intense” fans. But some celebrities, not naming any names here, see the 1% and apply it to the 99% and feel justified in defending people who openly call for the mass suicide of all fans. People only remember the f-ing crazy ones. Just try harder not to be crazy. If you’re worried that you’re going to engage in genuine crazy, stay at home. Seek help. DO NOT DO THE CRAZY THING.
Stalking is not fan behaviour. Stalking is harassment. Stalking is a power play, intimidation. There is absolutely nothing “nice” about stalking. Just don’t do it. Stalking is about the person doing the stalking indulging themselves. It has nothing to do with what the victim might want - or specifically, NOT want.
