Are there any tropes you can't stand?
Hmm… whole tropes? Not specifically, though - and I’m aware that this is worse, lol - I don’t like AUs in general. So if it’s not canon compliant, I typically just won’t read it at all, but I don’t object to it existing, if that makes sense? There are worse sins in terms of characterization choices, specifically when any one person is made very two-dimension or all one thing with no nuance, etc. Sherlock being a petulant brat all the time, John being either all nice or all jerk, etc etc.
