How does drawing a nose on a bee convey embarassment/regret/hatred??

The world may never know.

I love this so hard

Uhhh, YEAH. That stuff is amazing. I made a different recipe ONCE years ago and it was terrible, so I quit making it. But your story inspired me, and gave great pro tips: no bacon, some spice difference that really made it fantastic, and then WOW! I make it regularly now. Once per month since it got cold. Johnlock fanfic can change your culinary life. And the rest of it too! Thank you so much for the recipe tips in the notes!

Wait wait wait, I’m very concerned by something you said here - what do you mean, “no bacon”?? That’s a typo or something, right?? My recipe VERY much calls for bacon!

Listen. The boeuf bourguignon fic changed my life. I make that recipe with that quality kosher stew beef. Whoo boy. (Talking about food brings my Southern out.)

Omg are you serious?????? You actually made my recipe?? Or like, “make”, in an ongoing fashion? This makes me soooo happy!!!!! Thank you for telling me that!!!! <3333333333333333333

SA’s Christmas Johnlock fics

So, my current fic project is rolling merrily along now, currently just under 9,000 words. :) Meanwhile, it’s snowing outside and holiday decorations are already up everywhere, so I just thought I might pimp out my two Christmas stories in case that’s of interest to anyone. No pressure, just if you like! :)

Sherlock Holmes and the Case of the Missing Christmas Spirit. AO3 summary:

John hates Christmas. So does Sherlock, but he suggests that they do Christmas “properly” this year to see if they can’t track down its elusive magic and discover for themselves what Christmas is supposed to be about.

This one starts with John moodily ruminating on the notion that he’s never really had a good Christmas. He’s also moved back into Baker Street (this was written post-series 3, pre-series 4) and has been secretly hoping that things would eventually just happen with Sherlock, but so far they haven’t and he’s feeling gloomy about all of it. When Sherlock asks curiously about what it is that makes Christmas special, John realizes that he doesn’t even know, so Sherlock proposes that they try everything. :)

Home for Christmas. AO3 summary: It’s been eleven months since Eurus Holmes happened, and just one since John and Rosie moved back into Baker Street at last. With Christmas just around the corner, both Sherlock and John are slightly baffled when Mrs Hudson decides to give them a slow cooker as a “house-warming present”…

Someone once called this one the “boeuf bourguignon and glasses fic” and that’s a pretty good summary, lol. I was going through a phase of being slightly obsessed with both Benedict and Martin in glasses (it’s nowhere near over, for the record). I had also recently created my own recipe for slow cooker boeuf bourguignon, and you all know of my love for including domesticity, cooking, and good food in general in stories, so… here we are. :P
