there’s this episode of will & grace where two gay men petition for a gay kiss on network television, and it ends with the two men taking Direct Action and kissing on a network talk show. and it occurs to me that the fastest way to get the johnlock kiss out into the world would be for sherlock and john to follow their example. sherlock just pauses while answering a reporter’s question, takes john’s face into his big hands, and kisses him right in front of all the news cameras and the whole universe. they could do that today. will they do that today
