Worthless

Aren't a fan of the word worthless? You have Shakespeare to thank for that one. He created at least 1700 new words  in the English language. Hurry, assassination and critic were a few of the others.

Ever want to read the longest novel written in English? Well you are in for a treat. By the time you are done you probably won't be saying I want more. After reading 1,000,000 words, you may be a bit burnt out.

Pi

For those really keen on math or for those who really want to learn, you shouldn't have any fear. In this 800 page book you get to watch the author demonstrate how to find Pi. What was it again?

What The Dickens?

You know we all have our little needs when writing. Something to eat or silence or something else of the like. But Charles Dickens was original. He could not write unless he was facing north.

Spider Web

Here is an off the wall theory for saving the planet from any incoming space debris, simply genetically mutate huge spiders that can breathe in space. Then get them to build huge webs all around the Earth. Think I could market it?

Mooning

Ever wanted to fly? Should the moon ever be cut in half or shift far away, gravity may go up. As in everything will start to float. There will be a run on nails, that is for sure. Maybe even cement shoes. Even the fillings in your mouth could be pulled out and go through your head, killing you. Death by dental work, worse ways?

Swimming

With swimming being a main thing to do in the summer, would you like to know about ocean acidification? Should the C02 levels keep rising the ocean could become so acidic that a dinosaur type extinction takes place. Dip your toe in first the next time you go to the beach to be sure.

No, hopefully humans won't be hulking out any time soon. But should a large star collapse inward towards a black hole, it could send gamma ray bursts across the universe and those in the 3000 light year range won't be too happy. As in earth exploding unhappy. Another fact you knew?
