In Norse mythology, Svaðilfari (Old Norse “unlucky traveler”[1]) is a stallion that fathered the eight-legged horse Sleipnir with Loki (in the form of a mare). Svaðilfari was owned by the disguised and unnamed hrimthurs who built the walls of Asgard.
Taken straight from the Wikipedia page.
He does appear in I Bring the Fire, but not until Chaos.

Matt Haig gives legit writing advice.
Quoted for motherfucking TRUTH.
I’m actually pretty good at cranking out 1,000-2,000 words a day, but we’ve all been here. Even some of my writing buddies* who make gazillions (okay, hundreds of thousands and millions) sometimes have this writers block.
* Some famous self-published writers who let me into their writing group mistaking me for somebody else.

Two authors in the Gods & Mortals box set have had new releases lately. Ednah Walters of the Runes series has released Witches, and Melissa Haag has released Clay’s Hope.
For folks who don’t know, Gods & Mortals is a FREE mythology inspired box set. There is a little Paranormal Romance, a little Urban Fantasy and lots of fun.

Warriors just hit 60 reviews on Amazon U.S.!
Reviews are important, not only do they help convince other readers to give an ebook a chance, they also let authors know their work is valued. I’m now an author “full-time” (not quite, I still have young children), but for the first few years of writing I was struggling to work nearly full-time, raise the kids, write, and publish (the publishing part takes a lot more effort than you’d think). I wasn’t making enough money to scale back hours, and reviews were really the only thing that kept me publishing. So I appreciate each and every one.
Thank you for your reviews on Amazon U.S. Diana L Elliott-Braddi, Katheryn McLaughlin, Gordon L, Amazon Customer (New fan), Morrigan Aria, Vilya, Nicole Summerside, Amazon Customer, MARIAN MATHIS, Melissa Flores-Hosman, Amazon Customer, Wait, man!, Adcc, Kate, Kindle Customer, Ellen Anglin, Jackie, Jodene Wheeler, Catherine, GaryDavis, Alex, Cookie, Karelle Scharff, angela reed, E.B. Stockstad, Amazon Customer (Awesomeness!), Amazon Customer (Bring yourself!), Marlon H. Reis, momof sporefan.
Thank you for your reviews on Amazon U.K. mrs. judith currah and Sarah.
And thank you for your reviews on GooglePlay Monica Stan, Victoria Case and Michelle Rodriguez.
Thank you everyone. I hope I can continue to bring you stories you enjoy.

The group “ough” can be pronounced in eight different ways in English. The following sentence contains all eight:
A rough-coated, dough-faced ploughman strode through the streets of Scarborough, coughing and hiccoughing thoughtfully.

Just saw this on Facebook. Hooray for English spelling! (via linguisten)

THANKS EVERY ONE … BookBub is running I Bring the Fire today. BookBub is kind of the Holy Grail of ebook advertising, so their running I Bring the Fire is kind of a really big thing. To get a BookBub advert you need either celebrity writer endorsements or lots of reviews. I don’t have celebrity endorsements, just a hell of a lot of really great fans who took the time to review my work.
Love all of you.
