medieval romances

I have now reloaded all 13 of my medieval romances and even put up book 14 as my very first pre-release. Wearing a Mask is now set to go live on 10/14. I’ll be excited to see how that works. And there’s still 7 hours left before the BookBub ad goes live! Hurrah! Now I get an hour and 10 minutes of sleep!

Believing Your Eyes

I just loaded up fresh version of Believing Your Eyes – its BookBub ad starts in 12 hours! Woo hoo! It’s been quite the journey with this book. Four covers and quite a number of polishing runs on its content. This is perhaps the one I feel most strongly about – it portrays a heroine finding the strength to rise above a sexual assault. To forge a new path with her life.

Evening meditation time

Evening meditation time. I helped several authors with their books and had my son over for dinner where we talked about his. I’m so happy to lend a hand. We all help each other succeed. #namaste

Evening meditation time

Evening meditation time. Today I spent a lovely day at an art festival. On one hand I could have been disappointed. I raced to get there early (for me) by 10am to get my & Bob’s photos submitted; it turns out they had to be in by 9am. So that was disappointing. But a minor hurdle and at least we got to be hung and seen with the rest. And on the great up-side, my good friend Bob E won both first AND second prize for his photography!! And not only that, but I’m the “ghost” in that 1st place image – we did that at Shaw Farm as a long-exposure project. #namaste

Evening meditation time

Evening meditation time. I was just hit with two massive projects – one involving my mail server and the other requiring all 300+ of my books to be reloaded onto Amazon – in an already busy schedule. Meditating will help me maintain focus and get through this. #namaste

Critical for Ebook authors!

Critical for Ebook authors! Amazon now requires your table of contents to be AT THE FRONT of your book. Even the built-in TOC which, by default, Calibre and other packages put at the BACK. It has to do with a flaw in how they calculate KU pages read. Please share! And yes, this means I have to redo ALL THREE HUNDRED OF MY BOOKS.

Freelancer.com

Freelancer.com is a system which lets you bid on writing jobs. A nice concept. Unfortunately, the system seems to be full of scammers and the company seems completely resistant to even hearing about it. Have you used them?

back porch yoga session

A wonderful morning back porch yoga session in my cool new leggings. I think they’re neat. Bob thinks they’re super-creepy :). I should do a video of me hula-hooping in them!!

back porch yoga

I treasured a serene back porch yoga session. Then I came inside to read that a dear friend had passed away. Life reminds us that every day is precious. #Namaste
