Today I’m grateful that I can generally sleep as long as I need to. I woke up so refreshed and full of energy. Many don’t have that luxury. I’m so grateful in general that I took the plunge all those years ago to work for myself. What are you grateful for?

Art Museum Mystery series
I just finished writing book 7 in my Art Museum Mystery series. This one is set in the Audubon House in Key West, Florida. I’ve visited there twice and love it. Both times my mom took me. This image shows a single page from his one of his massive famous folios – each print was **full sized** and showed the bird full color. The prints were made from copper-etched plates and then hand colored in. A full “book” of 435 prints cost the equivalent of $80,000 back in 1830 :). Now, of course, one could be had for a mere ten million.

Evening meditation time
Evening meditation time. A frigid, blustery day but the parade was a blast! Then a nice afternoon with my son. Next, I worked a bit with my narrators, and book 2 in my zoo cozy mystery is now half-way complete. I’m exhausted and am turning in early. Have a great evening, everyone! #Namaste

Cedar Conundrums gentle mystery
I’m still working on a new cover for my Cedar Conundrums gentle mystery set in Sutton Massachusetts.
Do you prefer the left, center, or right version?
This is a rough cut of an alternate version of the center one. In this photo there were fewer runners. I only did a quick pass on it to get the colors similar, so there’s other cleanup work which would have to be done.
