Evening meditation time
Evening meditation time. This afternoon I rescued a spider which was drifting toward my car. Then, later I gave a tick a final drink of alcohol. The cheap gin, not the good stuff. Life has a balance :). #namaste

As “male” jobs go away
As “male” jobs go away, like truck drivers, more men will need to learn to do “Women’s work” to get jobs. That is where the job growth is. Which raises all sorts of questions. Will the jobs start to pay more? Will the jobs earn more respect?

LGBTQ students
A group of LGBTQ students took an annual visit to the Oklahoma state house. Before they arrived, a staff member sent out a warning email to the entire staff of the system, alerting them that “cross-dressers” were coming and that they could use the private bathrooms to avoid them. We are better than this.

Tick and Tanqueray gin
I just found a tick on me. It’s only mid-April – what is this insanity?? So I call for Bob, and Bob says, “Grab alcohol!” So I grabbed the Tanqueray gin. He said “WHAT??”
TV ads
TV ads are now deliberately using phrases to activate home “Alexa” type systems. This is Wrong wrong wrong. It sets a dangerous precedent. What if an ad gives a command for Alexa to order something? And the person is out of the room getting a soda?

Today I’m Grateful
Today I’m Grateful I’m normally healthy. My sunburn reminds me how challenging life could be with even a minor impairment that involves movement pain. I’ve been shying away from yoga until this heals a bit more, so I don’t exacerbate it. What are you grateful for today? #namaste

Evening meditation time
Evening meditation time. So grateful my boyfriend loves to cook – it means I get healthy tasty food & can focus on my writing. Every author should have a Bob of their very own. You can’t have mine, though ;). #namaste

Dealing with Stress
There’s a spammer in my LisaShea.com forums. Is it sad that I’m taking such delight in turning his spam posts into happy notes?
