Immersed in God’s Word

This weekin the USA, Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) introduced its new study of Revelation. (The same book is being studied around the globe but I’mnot sure about the schedule in other countries.)

Bible Study

Three or four years ago, when I heard that BSF was working on a study of Revelation, I knew itwould be a highly anticipated and highly attended class. So it was no surprise to me when I arrived at the Boise area church where the women’s day class meets last Wednesday morning to discover over 450 wome...

MIRACLE DRUG
by Richard L. Mabry

The infection wasn’t supposed to happen, but it did. The treatment was supposed to take care of it, but it didn’t. Then Dr. Josh Pearson discovered why—the patients had another infection, one that was universally fatal. Common Grace Coming to Fruition

Our church is working its way through the book of 1st Corinthians at present, and this past Sunday the sermon was focused on spiritual gifts. Spiritual gifts, in general, are capacities and abilities apportioned and empowered by God in a Christian’s life for the common good.

But the pastor said something else that has stuck with me since. He mentioned that as part of common grace (according to Grudem’s Systematic Theology, common grace is the grace of God by which He gives people innumerable...

Gasp! Looking forward to Math!

I know this is almost impossible to believe (since I moaned about it in at least one earlier post), but as of today, I am feelingjust a little excited about my math class this term. This is not a for-college-creditclass. This is a class I must pass toprepareme for my college credit class. (If all goes well, to be taken next term.)

MathAnyway, after church today, I watched a series of short videos about this college math prep class and gained a better understanding of how it works. It is a new typ...

I’d say Victoria Holt whose real identity was Eleanor Hibbert. Though I’ve never written gothic novels, I’ve read every gothic she wrote. Mrs. Hibbert wrote under other pseudonyms...
