NOM pushes incredibly hostile document; says gays violate natural law, offend God, are 'changeable'
I've told you about TFP, one of the uber hostile cosponsors of the march the National Org. For Marriage will hold outside the Supreme Court on Tuesday. And on a couple of occasions, I've shown you one of that org's most popular documents, which says gays violate natural law, offend God, and are changeable:
10 Reasons Why Homosexual “Marriage” is Harmful and Must be Opposed [TFP]
Well guess what? NOM, the org. that pretends to be all about "protecting marriage" and whose president was just gifte...

Contrast Tony Perkins' same old spin (and masking of his true hostilities) with the able passion of Freedom to Marry's Evan Wolfson:

Fighting [to legally estrange me from my husband] with zeal and strategy
The headline alone makes me nauseous:
The New York Times' Sheryl Gay Stolberg wrote a love letter to Brian Brown. I know for a fact that she spoke to at least four people who have tracked NOM every day since the organization has been in operation. The reporter used none of it. There are two minor opposition comments—the rest is a puff piece that makes this, the head of an organization that is fighting against actual human families in truly...
Audio: FRC's Sprigg will work with gay Republicans (*who hide their 'conduct'); says gays are to 'go and sin no more'
This is the Senior Policy Fellow of one of the orgs that is co-sponsoring next week's pro-discrimination march outside of the Supreme Court. Here he is making it clear that gays and our "conduct" are two different things:
It's not just about marriage. It never is. I will never stop reminding you of this (no matter how frequently CNN continues to book people like Sprigg as m...
CWA cites 'ex-homosexuals' as reason to oppose marriage equality
This is the church bulletin that Concerned Women For America has created to oppose equality at the Supreme Court (/promote the NOM marriage march that CWA is cosponsoring). Note the pointed advocacy for the scientifically-rejected idea that gays can "change":

This weekend: FRC promotes NOM's March for Marriage by telling congregants gays aren't going to heaven
The Family Research Council, an official co-sponsor of next week's pro-discrimination march outside of the Supreme Court, is encouraging churches to run the following insert in their bulletins. It manages to incorporate both Mark Regnerus' widely discredited attempt to paint gay families as damaging with biblical condemnations of gay people's inability to obtain the security code to heaven's pearly gates:

Video: When they know us, they know it's #time4marriage
Politico got the scoop on this, the latest from the Respect For Marriage coalition:
The other side has myth. Spin. Carefully workshopped talking points. Misapplied "research." Untruth that trades on years of stigma and stereotype. Ad, in many cases: outright hostility.
We have actual lives, loves, and human interactions that cut through it all. With that kind of humanity, we cannot lose.

So much for my 'missing Maggie' theory
The National Organization For Marriage co-founder, who has been quite absent from the marriage debate in recent days, was just announced as a speaker at next week's pro-discrimination march outside the Supreme Court:
I wonder if she's rally the crowd by again predicting DOMA's imminent demise.
