i don’t even know what to say about my friend scott mcclanahan anymore. he’s blowing my mind and heart with beauty and sadness in a new way almost every week. the great honor of my life will undoubtedly be finding my name in the back of this book, in the same sentence as iggy pop’s. i don’t think i’ve met a more magical/spiritual person than scott mcclanahan. the one-two punch of Crapalachia and HIll William (more on this soon) is going to annihilate any and all doubters, naysayers, and skeptics. we’ve been waiting for these stories and this man a long motherfucking time.
