Of course, I made the mistake of asking why everyone calls this one guy Brickaday and it turns out that he worked at a brickyard for 40 years, stealing exactly one brick every day and making no particular efforts to conceal the theft. Nobody thought anything of it until years ...

An excerpt from the trial of Elinor Crane, who was arrested in Middlesex in 1693 on suspicion of burglary. A witness claimed one of the burglars was a woman in men’s clothing, and Elinor had previously been seen in the area dressed as a man.


“But the Court asking her why she went in Mans Apparel, the Prisoner replyed, She went to Wooe a Widow. Upon the whole Matter the Jury brought her in not Guilty.”

don’t forget that cane tips need to be replaced.


i’ve been using my cane for almost two years on a near daily basis and i JUST switched out the tip and


a picture of the bottoms of two cane tips. a new one that is shiny black rubber with very distinct and fairly deep spiral treads, and an old worn down one with barely visible remnants of spiral treads.ALTthe same two cane tips, this time from the side, showing that the old one's base is shorter by a solid half a centimeterALT
