Righteousness of God Is Revealed

 

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.  For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith. Romans 1:16.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1.

Social Media Walk Away

 

I am tired of being a slave to social media entertainment. Facebook and Youtube. It is better for me to mind my own business and to know nothing but Jesus Christ. Where is the innocence of social media?

The world is full of gossip especially, celebrity, and political gossip. People have become lovers of themselves thru pictures and videos. Knowledge puffs up, and people become famous for telling people about other people's adversities and mistakes.

Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, and small minds discuss people. Everyone should mind there is own business instead of meddling in other people's affairs. As a Christian, I need to stop entertaining myself with this force. What am I hanging onto?

 

The world religion sees god as themselves. The world religion has priests as celebrities.The world religion has the prophet's perpetual entertainment. The world religion has scriptures as tabloids and entertainment, news, and informational programs.

The world's religious places of worship are amusement parks, theaters, concert halls, and sports arenas; and we could say that every television and internet connection is a little chapel.

 

So I should mind my own business and come away from this force. The quiet life contradicts the hugely successful modern attraction to entertainment and excitement. 

This addiction to entertainment and excitement is damaging both spiritually and culturally. Excitement and entertainment is like a religion for many people today and I don’t want to be part of it any more.

You Will Be Saved

But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. Romans 10:8-10

For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified. The word heart refers to our love for Christ Jesus and ability to carry out his righteousness  in the spirit he give to us freely.  

By Faith in Jesus Christ, we are saved, by believing in Jesus Christ we can do the will of the Father.Faith comes by hearing the word of God. Those who believe in Jesus Christ will be saved.When you call on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ you will be saved because you allowing truth to come in.However who calls and believes and don't listen.A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good, and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

Seek God First

 

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33.

But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, 1 Corinthians 1:30.

Seek Christ

Seek means-attempt or desire to obtain or achieve 

Sanctification means- the action of making or declaring something holy.

Redemption means- the action of saving or being saved from sin

Kingdom of God is the authority of God. The Word of God. Live by every word of God.

Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.

But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it-not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do. James 1:23-25.

The person who practices righteousness is righteous, in the same way, that Jesus is righteous. The person who practices sin belongs to the devil because the devil has been sinning since the beginning. God’s Son appeared for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil.

Those born from God don’t practice sin because God’s DNA remains in them. They can’t sin because they are born from God. John 3:7-9

21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like a mortal human being and birds and animals and reptiles.
24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

Even their women exchanged natural sexual relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed shameful acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their error.
28 Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. It is written in 2 Peter 2

Now there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them—bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Many will follow in their depravity, and because of them the way of truth will be defamed.
3 In their greed, these false teachers will exploit you with deceptive words. The longstanding verdict against them remains in force, and their destruction does not sleep.
4 For if God did not spare the angels when they sinned, but cast them deep into hell, a placing them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment; 5 if He did not spare the ancient world when He brought the flood on its ungodly people, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, among the eight; 6 if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction, reducing them to ashes as an example of what is coming on the ungodly; and if He rescued Lot, a righteous man distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless 8 (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)— 9 if all this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.

Homosexuality and Adultery is Wrong

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: It is written in Leviticus 20:13If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.
It is written Leviticus 18:22-2422 “ ‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.23 “ ‘Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it; that is a perversion.24 “ ‘Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled.
It is written in 1 Corinthians 6:9-119 Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men10 nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.11 And that is what some of you were.
