Simpsons/Futurama Pin-Up

This is the piece we contributed to the Simpsons/Futurama Crossover Crisis book published back in April by Abrams. A really nifty slipcase hardcover collection of the two crossover mini-series by writer Ian Boothby and penciler James Lloyd (and other folks), with lots of extras (pencils, notes, a large pin-up section, bonus comics and more). Only $16 and some change on Amazon, if anyone's interested.

Good News and Bad News

The good news is that Sarah and I finished up the Simpsons Treehouse strip, on time, just under the wire. Whew!

The bad news is that I went to the comic shop yesterday, and for some reason decided to leaf through the new Neal Adams Batman comic. I am now in the hospital, although the prognosis is good and the doctor says the bandages should come off my eyes within a week or so. So, yeah, that sucks.

Night At The End Of The Tunnel

If all goes well, we'll be done, sometime tomorrow night, with the deadline churn we've been on since we got back from Heroes Con last month. Which seems like several months ago, now. Not Dead Yet

I haven't been posting here much, as you folks out there who are still with me may have noticed. My schedule took a major bump as I attended a few cons and the CCS event, while I had a great time throughout, it was, in hindsight (mid-sight?) , a major mistake. I may have mentioned that before, I can't remember. So, no shows for a long while. Work has to come first, I have to turn pages of stuff out as best as I can for the  next -- oh, I dunno, ten-to-twenty years? Yeah, 2010 hasn't been the ...
