Crashing the Net arrives Tuesday! Get ready to meet Piper, a girl with spunk, determination, and some serious challenges ahead of her.

Crashing the Net arrives Tuesday, Dec. 27th. Meet Piper, the goalie extraordinaire that breaks the glass and enters the realm of men's professional hockey. She's spunky and one of my favorite characters of all time!
Ranger Deacon can’t believe his team’s bad luck. First their season falls into a steep slump, then their number one goalie goes down with a knee injury. Morale is in the pits and the coach springs one outrageous development on them—a woman will be joining the team to finish out the remainder of the games. He’s skeptical until he sees her play and loses a piece of his jaded heart in the process.
Piper Darrow is a hockey prodigy, a goalie at the top of her game in the women’s league. She’s just finished a stellar year when the opportunity of a lifetime presents itself—becoming the first woman to play in the men’s professional league. Plenty of obstacles stand in Piper’s way, including acceptance from the fans, the players and even her own teammates. That, along with some hard hits from opponents, she can handle. It’s the fierce desire she feels for Ranger that throws her for a loop.
Playing a male-dominated sport is difficult enough without the additional challenge of falling for the captain of the team. Piper knows the score, is determined to get the job done, but can’t help but wonder if there’s more to Ranger than excellence on the ice.

I just signed a contract for the next book in the Shifter Hardball series!

Whoo-hoo. Just signed a contract with Dreamspinner Press for the next book in the Shifter Hardball Series, entitled, Switch Hitter! I'm bouncing!

Tentative release date is June/July of next year. 

Just enough time for me to get to work on the next book and get it ready to go!

I've signed a contract with Fireborn Publishing for a book called Clothing Optional, due out Dec. 2nd. Cover coming soon!

Just finished second edits on Crashing the Net. Whew! I LOVE this story, can't wait to share more on it soon.

Work in progress is tenatively entitled The Challenge of Vampire Dating in the Modern Age. It's a M/M romantic comedy. Slowly progressing.

What's happening in my world lately?

Hey all,

Just an update and glimpse into my world and what I've been doing.

I've returned to working full time at my job. That cut my writing time in half. Sucks big time, but it's reality. The good news is I've figured out a routine in order to maximize the time I have. Chores, weed pulling, mowing, gardening, and housework are done in the morning along with my workout. After that, it's butt in chair and fingers on keyboard! It's working!

I'm closing in on finishing another M/M story, this one called Clothing Optional. I hope to have that done in the next few days and see if I can find it a home. Yay! It's been too long since I finished a book and about time to get another one in the processing stages.

It's been too dang hot that I was in a losing battle with the weeds. I made a significant dent in them, but they seem to be trying for a comeback. I might win some rounds, but I think they'll nip me in the end. Until frost, that is. Then I'll be one happy camper. LOL. I'm ready right now!

At least the rains have returned the past couple of days. I'm sure my water bill this next time will be scary from having to water twice a day. Yikes! I couldn't let the veggies just up and die after all that work. So, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the rains to continue.

Well, that's it for an update. I'm working hard to finish Clothing Optional. After that, I have a couple of stores vying for my attention that have been started. Not sure which will grab my attention next, but surely one of them will start talking again.
