Taming the Lion Tamer

No Sleep From My Eyes by Vish Studio

I finished the last round of edits on Taming the Lion Tamer. Yay! This is my second book to be published with Silver Publishing and I'm really proud of it. Charlie and Quinn are adorable together and I hope that you all like them as well. This is a fun, happy, sexy read. There is a possibility of a sequel involving Charlie's sister and the man she loves but that won't be for a while if it does happen. Anyway, I hope you all like it.

I've been hard at work at the sequel to Almost Paradise. Pine Hollow Wolves 2 (working title- Pack Business) is coming along nicely. In this story we'll catch up with Liam and Travis. Samson's story will come after theirs.

Thank you to everyone who has picked up Almost Paradise and gave an unknown author like me a chance.

Review for You Never Cred by Michele L. Montgomery

I read a new book tonight and wanted to share it with you all.

You Never Cared You Never Cared by Michele L. Montgomery
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

As someone that was bullied and had quite a few low points in high school this story really hit home for me. This is the first book of Michele's that I've read and it certainly won't be the last. I love the writing style, how the narrator's voice flows with a rhythm all it's own. I'm serious, read some of the passages aloud where he's thinking. Each character that I met in the story came across as genuine and unique. I cried a lot while reading this book and I cheered when Sammy raged at the boy that had tormented them. The epilogue was a nice finishing touch to wrap everything up. The only reason I rated this story as a 4 was that, because of the story's length, some of the details seemed rushed and some of the parts appeared abrupt. Not in a major way and not in a way that took anything from the story, but it would be really nice to see a much longer re-writing of this story at some point soon.

Marked by Grief

Marked by Grief
Available September 8, 2012
(Draft Blurb)Six months ago Kit lost his brother to a drunk driver. Now, feeling alone and like everyone has left him behind, he struggles to even get out of bed. He's barely eating, his parents are strangers and worst of all the man that he loves, his brother's best friend, hasn't spoken to him since the funeral.
Jason always thought that he'd have time to tell Kit how he felt someday, when the younger man might be ready to handle Jason's sexual dominance. Bear's death changed all of that. He was giving Kit time to heal but couldn't have imagined how wrong he was.
When a broken Kit comes back into Jason's life, will love be enough to heal them both?

Review for Rock Hard by Vona Logan

Rock Hard Rock Hard by Vona Logan
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I loved these two characters and this story made me smile, laugh and hope for something more for them. My only complaint was that it was too short. It really has everything that you'd want in a short. The guys are hot, they've got well developed personalities, their motives are believable and the sex is well done and hot. There is some light angst which works in this story. You should stop reading this review and go buy the book already. I hope that there's a sequel because I'd really love to see more of these guys and there are a few side characters that I'd like to see get their own stories as well.

Taming the Lion Tamer- First edits done!

Taming the Lion Tamer has now gone through first edits. Yay!

Aseem, the young Asiatic Lion in the story, would look like this. I went with Asiatic over African because of their endangered status and that so few people even know that this species exists.

Alright, I'm off to go get ready for the day!

You can walk a long way with a smile by Vish Studio

I like that this guy isn't perfectly posed. He's not very muscular and some people might not even find him that cute. But I smile every time I see his because he just looks that happy.

Cover art for Taming the Lion Tamer

Taming the Lion Tamer will be available on August 18th!

(Draft Blurb)

Charlie thought it would be like any other Friday working as an animator. Then in walked Quinn and his rescued Asiatic Lion. For years Quinn has devoted his life to rescuing big cats so when an animation company offers him a donation in exchange for bringing one of the cats in to model he jumps on it.Charlie's so nervous that he can barely look at Quinn, much less talk to him. Quinn is confident, friendly and too handsome for words. Charlie can't believe it when Quinn notices him, and then invites him up to the sanctuary for the weekend. He's enthralled and finds himself falling hard for the man his sister calls Sex God Quinn Fitzgerald.

A few new things...

The Out in the Rockies blog hop is still going on. Check out today's post at Amara's Place.

Taming the Lion Tamer is officially coming out on August 18th! I'm so excited for my second release :).

And QMO Books reviewed Almost Paradise. You can find the review here.

My first character interview with Liam Glass of Almost Paradise went very well and I got a lot of great responses from it so it won't be my last. Want to get to know a character better? Let me know either through comments, email or talk to me on facebook about it and I'll get one together. Here's the link for Liam's interview.
