On the Radio...The Podcast...Sounding Southern

Hey, I haven't talked about Will Ludlam lately. Today's the day!

I'm doing an audio interview today at the  "Kindle Love Stories"  podcast, talking about Omega. There might be talk of granny panties. Not sure what time this goes live, and I know I'm going to sound like a total hick from Alabama (shoe fit much?) but it was a fun interview!

Geese and Ganders

I feel oddly proud of this two-star review, and feel certain it will show up in a future blog post at Preternatura:

"I find it amazing that a female author would use so much foul language."

Um....I might have to turn further commentary over to my friend Mirren.

Storm Force is Officially Out! A review by Sentinels of New Orleans' DJ and Alex

[Click post title to read full post.]

Happy official release day for Storm Force! Of course it has been out for about a month for Kindle after its run as a serial novel. Today, it hits print. Looks like the audiobook is scheduled for September or October release. Don’t ask me; I’d be the last one to know!
So.
DJ and Alex of the Sentinels of New Orleans series both like to read. When she’s not chasing down pretes, fending off advances by the undead pirate Jean Lafitte, and worrying abou...

Meet Robin the Eagle-Shifter from Storm Force

[Click post title to show active links.]

Happy Monday!

I'm over at She Wolf Reads today, talking about Storm Force (out in print tomorrow!) and my inspiration for Robin. Sometimes characters make you work for it, and sometimes they just pop up fully formed. Robin was one of the latter. She's SUCH fun to write!

There's also a giveaway, so fly on over if you get a chance.

The Storm Force Geography Tour

Seems like Storm Force has been out forever because of its run as a serial, but did you realize that this coming Tuesday, June 18, is its real release day? Which is to say that it's available in print, finally. Not that I've seen a copy, but I know it's out there!

Storm Force, as most of you know, is a loose spinoff of the Penton series. Very loose. And since it's set in Houston rather than Alabama, I thought I'd share some of the geography with you. Before I moved to New Orleans, I lived in H...

Vampires and Shifters--Coming Your Way

[Click post title for active link.]

Yesterday, over at Preternatura, I began collecting suggestions for guest posts. You can still contribute ideas  HERE . Here's the schedule for the rest of June and for July. I'll be putting the links up each day, along with the type of post and which character is doing it--and who suggested the topic, of course :-). Also, whatever giveaways are being offered.

This list does NOT include the online tour for Elysian Fields. I'm setting up appearanc...

The Big Scotsman Takes the Prize

Today's news....[Click title of post to see full post and links.]

Absolution (Penton Vampire Legacy 2) won the 2013 Holt Medallion Award for paranormal romance! The award is presented annually by Virginia Romance Writers.

I asked Mirren if he was excited and he said, and I quote, "(Bleep) yeah." A man of few words is our Mirren.

Absolution is also a finalist for the 2013 Prism Award in dark paranormal
romance. That announcement will be made during the national Romance Writers of American convent...

Penton 4: Deliverance!

[Click title of blog post to see full post.]

It doesn't have a release date yet, and the publishing details are still up in the air, but the fourth book in the Penton Legacy series has a working title of Deliverance. No surprise that it will be Cage Reynolds' story. Stay tuned for details as they become available.

If you read my Preternatura blog, you'll also know the hare-brained idea I've cooked up for upcoming blog appearances. For Susannah Sandlin guest blogs in the coming months, I'll be d...
