Will the LGBT movement self-destruct?

Rachel Lu, writing in The Federalist, predicts that  The LGBT Movement Will Self-Destruct.  Signs that this might be the case:  It keeps pushing the boundaries to the point of making itself ridiculous; it has to silence and persecute its critics; it hasn’t shown that it can create a positive culture that can stand the test of time. Immigrant converts must pass Bible trivia test

In the UK, Muslim immigrants converting to Christianity have been given “Bible Trivia” tests–which many long-time Christians would be unable to pass–as a way to check whether or not they are really Christians.  The problem is, many of the immigration officials asking the questions seem to know little about Christianity themselves. Read about this after the [Read More...]

Turning pride from a sin to a virtue

An LGBTQ theologian, apparently thinking of “gay pride” parades, wants Christianity to change its teaching that pride is a sin and turn it instead into a virtue. From Thomas D. Williams,  Episcopal Priest: LGBTQ People Will ‘Revitalize Christianity’: In her essay—excerpted from the book titled Queer Virtue: What LGBTQ People Know About Life and Love [Read More...]

After the [Read More...]

The Muslim immigrants who are converting to Christianity that we have been blogging about (see here and here and here), are paying a price for their new faith.  They are facing violent and even sexual attacks in the refugee camps for their apostasy from Islam. Secret Service agent says Hillary is unstable and violent

We may have a president who is being described as “volcanic, impulsive, enabled by sycophants, and disdainful of the rules set for everyone else.”  No, not Donald Trump.  Hillary Clinton.  A former White House secret service agent, Gary Byrne,  has written a book soon to be released entitled  “Crisis of Character: A White House Secret [Read More...]

Islamic exceptionalism

We keep hearing, “All religions are essentially the same.”  But no they aren’t!  That sentiment is particularly unhelpful when trying to understand the different religions.  So it’s refreshing to read a Muslim scholar explaining, in Time Magazine, no less, How Islam Is Different From Other Religions. Shadi Hamid, the author of Islamic Exceptionalism, shows how and why [Read More...]

Trump supporters attacked by violent protesters

Some 200 protesters physically attacked attendees at a campaign event for Donald Trump in San Jose, California.  Most of the attackers were Hispanic young people, who burned the American flag and raised the flag of Mexico.  They also smashed windows, vandalized cars, and actually chased people leaving the rally, punching them and throwing bottles at [Read More...]

Libertarian candidates against liberty

The Libertarians had a prime opportunity to make their party an alternative to voters who oppose both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.  And yet, say several commentators, they blew their chances by nominating two candidates who are not only pro-abortion, but are also explicitly anti-religious liberty.  Gary Johnson and Bill Weld believe discrimination statues should apply [Read More...]
