What I’m reading…

I was going to read Magic Without Mercy, but then I received my pre-ordered book All Spell Breaks Loose. The covers rock! Both of these books are part of a long series that I’ve been reading for years. But which one do I read first?

Decisions…decisions.

I’m exicted to read both. I love re-visiting these characters.

Stop by later this week for the review and find out which book I ended up reading.

For the love of … books.

I love books, so much so that I became a writer.

So, when did I stop reading?

I’m not sure I can pick out a specific time. I used to read anywhere from 1-3 full length books a DAY, now I can barely read that many in a month. It’s so depressing. I used to carry a book with me wherever I go.

Not anymore.

I realized that I stopped carrying a book a few months ago. It’s enough to make me cry.

At least I stopped buying like I read 3 books a day. Too bad it took me years to learn the new buying habit. S...

The Demon Within: Cover Reveal !

As you might have noticed on my site, I received the new cover art for my next book.

I’m thrilled! I love the feathers and hand placement and look at that knife!

Isn’t it gorgeous?

More than darkness lurks in the shadows…

When the balance in the world is threatened, human survival rests in the hands of two unlikely saviors, a disgraced angel and a reformed demon.

As a punishment for failing his duty as an angel, Ruman finds himself encased in stone in the form of a guardian statue. Every few deca...

Chipmunks and Squirrels…oh, my!

This is my very wild rose bush.Yes, I really need to read up on how to trim it properly.

It spreads out biggereach year. When in bloom, it’s very colorful.

When the blooms fade, wild daisies pop up. Very beautiful all summer long.

Now, the dog is a different matter.

He swears the chipmunks and squirrelsthat run in there while he is chained up during the day are having aparty without him.

He so wants to join them!

Too bad he doesn’t see the animals shoot out the other end. lol

I think the only thing h...

Spring in Bloom

My flowers are up!

I’m still waiting for my Lilies to bloom.

My wild onions/chives are ready to eat. The onions I planted last year that the dog didn’t dig up came back.

The Rhododendrons came back despite the dog helping with the watering.

The Cherry Tree is in bloom…it’s now a tree full of bees!

My wild rose bushis green and very wild, trying to take over the yard.

School is out next week.

The Summer is almost here! Anyone else excited?

Exercise…what a lovely thought.

I’m one of those strange ducks that likes to exercise. I like the way my body aches afterwards if I work it hard enough. I like the way it makes me feel.

The hard part for me is keeping a schedule. I bought a treadmill a few years ago and for the first year, I was on it faithfully.

Five days a week. Walking, walking with an incline, running, etc.

I gained weight, but it was muscle, so I wasn’t too disappointed. Then someone gave me some bad advise and I stopped exercising.

After a few months, I d...

Riddle Me This??

What is the one condiment that you don’t ever want to have leak in your fridge?

You guessed it.

Syrup.

One whole shelf was a sea of amber. Okay, a quarter of an inch.

How theheck does agiant whole get on the bottom of a bottle that hasn’t been moved in a coons’ age?

Second question…how do you chisel out and rescue the rest of the condiments?

A lot of muscle and hot water.

I must have lucked out and caught it fairly quickly…or maybe not. That stuff was still super sticky. It didn’t harden or dry out...
