What I’m reading…
Updated to read: I picked out a lovely urban fantasy to go head to head with Mona Lisa Awakening, but then I found out that it was book two. Too bad, because book two sounded great. Unfortunately, I don’t own book one. *pouts*

I did it! Oh, gosh, did I ever.

You probably guessed that I have a little addiction. I’ve been good this year, a lot better than what I have been in the past.
I used to shop at the thrift shop to see what books they got in that week.
These days, I might pick up one or two booksa month at the local store.
My book shelves hold more books than what you see in these pictures. A lot more books. Heck, I have a whole room for them (plus some). Wouldn’t you love to visit this guy and his books? ->

Saying good-bye to Summer.
Has anyone else noticed that the days are getting shorter?
Peoples gardens are winding down.
Our Summer geese left over a month ago.
Last night the temperature dropped below 60.
The trees haven’t turned yet, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see that
happening sooner rather than later.
Has anyone else been inundated with school shopping ads?
It’s official. Summer is ending.

Inspiration
This is a picture from my backyard.
During the spring, this log was underwater. When I see it now, I can almost picture a row of dwarfs marching across with an axe over their shoulder.
