What I’m reading…

I’m still editing. Sigh. I’ll be editing for a while yet.

I thought I would read the Hunger Games this week, but I think I need a little break…read something different. So I selected two contemporary authors that are supposed to be hilarious. Okay, so one has a bit of paranormal in it.

Here are the blurbs for this week:

More books…

To celebrate officially writing the end, I placed an order for some more books (and a movie). Some of these have been on my wishlist for a while.

I’m waiting on one more book. The other one was cancelled when they found out they didn’t have it in stock anymore. Oh, and I should mention I purchased three digital books, too. I’m equal opportunity. :)

Now I’m editing my book. It’s going well, but I have to hurry if I want to make my deadline. Yikes!

What about you? Have you purchased any good books...

What I’m reading…

I chose to read another fantasy book this week. I placed an Amazon order to celebrate writing ‘the end’, and both of these books arrived in the mail. I’ve read the Cast series for the last three years and love them. I’ve also read the firstLaura Anne Gilman series and can’t wait to see if the second set of books are just as good.

Ups and Downs…

This weeks has been full of a lot of ups and downs for me.

For every step forward, I was knocked backward or sideways. I’m mentally tired. The weekend can’t come soon enough for me.

Some good news that I can share…I officially wrote ‘The End’. The book needs a lot of work. Toward the end, I have sections like : Add fight scene here

I’m both excited and dread editing this book. I’m really not sure how it turned out until I dig into the pages.

Wish me luck…I’m going to need a lot of it!
