New release special: The Ghosts' Release by Simone Sinna
Hi all,
Please welcome back another guest who has visited a couple of months ago. Today Simone is bringing you her brand new release, The Ghosts' Release, another intriguing read.

Despite her home at Tarrabah being in ashes after an attack by ghost destroyers, Misty goes with her instinct to trust ghost vampire brothers Damon and Kadar, finding their attraction is mutually hypnotic. But the brothers are trying to break the northern vampires centuries long hold on the secret of a viral curse and in order to do so all three are pitted against a formidable enemy. Buoyed by a prophecy from her homeland in Tasmania, Misty must survive the vampire caves beneath Whitby but can only do so if Damon and she can link in a way they have never before through their centuries of attempts. Aided by the ghost of her grandfather who died at the hands of the vampires, and a love that has survived generations, there is a final choice put to them by the Oracle and they must decide whether the power of love will win.
WERE-DEVILS OF TASMANIA
A four part novella series – Scorching erotic MFM paranormal romance
An ancient viral curse that the seer has read in the stones can only be resolved through change and love. As the scientists fight against the clock to find a cure, others are less ready to forgive and plot revenge. Will Becc, Gabriella, Lena, and Misty, and the men they love, and in whose hands the future of the were-devils and ghost vampires rests, be able to overcome the rivalry and bigotry to ensure not just their own survival but the future of a world held captive to the northern vampires viral power? Action, tension and an explosive conclusion that moves from the wilds of Tasmania in Australia’s south to the humid northern rainforests and coastline, and a finale on the dark mist covered moors of Yorkshire and in the caves of Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay in the UK.
Inspired by the real life viral cancer affecting the Tasmanian Devil and the Hendra virus in Queensland bats.

New release special: A Hell Hound's Fire by Siobhan Muir
Hi all, In addition to my Tuesday Teaser, I have a special guest today - Siobhan Muir, whose A Hell Hound's Fire has just released. Read on and find out more about this intriguing FREE read ~S~
A Little April Fireby Siobhan Muir
Woot! I'm back on Sage's blog! Thank you so much for having me here today, Sage.
Six months ago I visited with a post about celebrating the autumn and the changes toward winter. It has been an eventful winter and now I have a new release I can talk about which comes out today. SQUEEE!! :D
A Hell Hound's Fire is a short story free read (that's right, I said FREE) introducing my little town of Cloudburst, Colorado, a town full of some of those odd and interesting critters I mentioned last fall. In this case, I give you some werewolves, but one of them isn't quite like the others. If you've read Queen Bitch of the Callowwood Pack, you'll know they often come across their True Mates when they least expect it. This is the case here, but Sarah Flanagan, the heroine, gets more than she bargained for when she works with Alex MacLaren. Here's the blurb:

Alex MacLaren figures he'll never find love again after his mate dies. As one of the rare Hell Hound werewolves, his chances are slim to none. And slim went home. When the local Morukai shaman calls on him to protect a lovely Irish werewolf and her young son from demons, he can't help but take the job.
Sarah Flanagan is desperate to save her son Liam from the deadly monster trailing them, but she's out of options and places to hide. She lost her mate the last time she encountered a demon, and with Liam depending on her, the stakes are far higher this time. After meeting Alex, she's not sure about the Hell Hound, but she’s no fool. He’s their best hope for survival... and hers for another chance at love.
Excerpt:
Sarah jerked her head around so fast she heard her neck pop. The man’s rich, rumbling voice offered comfort in ways she’d never experienced before. She inhaled to get more of an understanding of the salt-and-pepper haired man standing in the doorway. He carried the scents of alpine river and hot stone, but more importantly, he smelled like a Moon Singer.Don’t be fooled, gel. The demon can pull off such trickery.“Who are you?”“My name is Alex MacLaren. Lt. Fitzroy called me to take you somewhere safe.”She sighed. “Thank you, but I don’t think there’s anywhere safe from what’s following us.”“Fitzroy says running water helps throw off the scents. I happen to own a house surrounded by the river. What say we get you there and then figure out an additional plan of action?”“Are you west of left field, Mr. MacLaren?” The Moon Singer code popped out before she thought. He gave her a half smile. “I haven’t heard that phrase in a long time. But, yes, ma’am, I surely am west of left field.”Sarah hadn’t known she’d been holding her breath until it rushed out in a relieved sigh. More relief than required over his not being the demon. What’s that about?“Do you think we’d be safe from…what’s coming?”“Let’s talk about it on the way. The fewer people who know, the less likely someone might tip off your pursuer.”Sarah wanted to ask more questions, but a sense of urgency made her rise and pull Liam up with her. Her son watched Alex with wide, blue eyes, clutching the book.“Mama, can we bring the book with us?”“It doesn’t belong to us, Liam.”“Bring it. Fitzroy won’t mind. He keeps books just for that reason. We’ll just go out the back to my Jeep.” Alex gestured to the door. No one stood in the hallway outside and Sarah scented Alex’s relief. He ushered them out to a cherry red Jeep Rubicon and helped them inside. He buckled Liam in directly behind him as if to protect the boy with his own body. The inside of the Jeep smelled like Alex. His strength, comfort, and power wrapped around them as he closed the doors. Old sorrow spiced the other scents and Sarah wondered what wounds he carried.“I’m taking you to the River House. I don’t go there very much anymore, so most people in town won’t know about it.” Alex scanned the world outside the windows with careful eyes as he drove. “It may be a little dusty, but it’s quiet and safe.”“Why don’t you go there much?” Liam asked.Sarah hissed a warning and the boy frowned.“My mate and I built it for relaxation. After she left, it just didn’t feel the same.”“I’m sorry about your mate.” Sarah smelled his pain as he shrugged nonchalantly.“It happened a long time ago.” Alex checked his mirrors and made a turn up a dirt road. “Let’s talk about what’s going on with you. Fitzroy told me you have a demon after you. Want to tell me how that happened?”Sarah clenched her jaw and looked at her son. She hated revisiting the memories, but she’d come to the Morukai and he’d brought Alex in to help. Knowledge is power and I can’t do this alone anymore.“Six years ago, demons attacked our village.” Alex raised his eyebrows and Sarah shrugged, pushing away fresh grief. “We’d just learned of my pregnancy and had gone out to celebrate. They killed my mate, Malcolm, and left me for dead.” She rubbed the ragged scar along her thigh under her jeans. “They killed so many people. If we’d stayed home, we might have escaped.”Alex whistled with amazement. “They bit you?”She nodded. “Bit, scratched. They left my body a bloody mess.”“How did you survive the venom?”“I don’t know. Sheer dumb luck? I wish I could explain.” She glanced at Liam. He met her gaze with love and trust.“Why would the demons pursue you now?” Alex downshifted and slowed the Jeep, sparing her a thoughtful look.Sarah sighed and clenched her fists on her legs. “They’re after Liam.” Alex only raised an eyebrow. “He must have incorporated some of the venom during his development because now he can smell and sense when demons are around. He has saved us from them many times.”Alex’s expression softened. “That’s a mighty useful skill to have, Liam.”“Yes, sir.”“You can call me Alex.” He smiled. “What do they smell like to you?”Liam didn’t say anything for a long time and the seconds ticked by with the growl of the engine. Sarah tried to forget the putrid demonic stench, but it festered inside her, engraved in her scent memory. At last, Liam glanced at her as if seeking permission and she nodded.“They smell like rotten eggs and really hot rock.” He paused and hugged himself. “A little like you.”
Ah, springtime. Love is in the air and the wolves start singing. :D You can get your copy of A Hell Hound's Fire at Smashwords and All Romance Ebooks for free. More stories will be coming from Cloudburst Colorado, and you might see more of Alex and Sarah – keep your eyes peeled.
I do have one short question. If you had a demon chasing you, who would you turn to for help?
Thanks so much for stopping by and happy reading! :)
Thanks for being my guest today, Siobhan! It's great to have you back here ~S~

Tuesday Teaser: Victoria Blisse
Hi all,
Welcome to a brand new Tuesday Teaser. This gorgeous Brit Babe barely needs an introduction, so I'll just get started with her interview straight away. Ladies and gentlemen, please give a warm welcome to Victoria Blisse!
Victoria, thank you so much for being my guest today. I've heard a rumour that you like neither tea nor coffee, so I'll just hand you the usual glass of bubbly to spice up
The business ones
Please give us a short introduction about yourself
I'm Victoria Blisse and I'm a Brit Babe. I'm also a Northern Bird, a mum, a Christian and a great big softie. I love football, the British type, and Manchester United are my team of choice.
I love to bake, cakes and biscuits and all kinds of yummy things. I'm not very good at making things look precise and pretty but I think I do okay with flavour as people come back time and again for a piece of my cake or a bite of my buns, oo er!
I was first published in 2006 and now have dozens of stories to my name. I write for House of Erotica, Total-E-Bound, Mischief and Xcite and you can find all my books here: http://victoriablisse.co.uk/books
What genre(s) do you write in and why? I primarily write erotic romance, because I’m a sucker for a happy ending and I love a good, hot romance. I write bits of whatever takes my fancy but I always celebrate curvaceous Characters and promote the fact that everyone is sexy no matter how they look. I write a bit in the paranormal genre and occasionally paddle in the shallow (and less painful) end of the BDSM pool.
Tell us about your latest release My latest release is a deliciously tasty threesome short story called Vanilla with Extra Nuts
She’s just a vanilla girl until she finds her perfect toppings…
Megan is slowly falling in love with Adam until he confesses he’s seeing a guy behind her back. She thinks the relationship has been ruined until the night she indulges in a threesome with the man she loves and Simon, his lover. As much as she enjoys being sandwiched between the two men she’s not sure the arrangement can last. So Megan has to decide.
Can she come to terms with sharing the man she adores with his male lover or will she have to say goodbye to her soulmate forever?

Describe your feelings when you learnt that your first book was accepted for publication Joy, elation, shock and complete delight. The very first story I submitted to a publisher was accepted, the day after I submitted in fact. Definitely a big shock, but a pleasant one.
Where do you find inspiration? Absolutely everywhere, so watch out! I might write you into one of my books.
Your favourite drink and food when writing Pepsi max, and the food is anything my hubby is willing to make for me or anything I can pick up and shove in my face with little prep. I get a little all consumed when I write.
I love the title and tagline of your new book, Victoria, and I just have to read it, even though it's not my usual flavour - but before I hurry off to read, let me ask you a few more questions. Here are
The nosy ones
How much of the real “you” is in your stories? The real me, who’s she? ;)
Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character? Who was it? Just one? There’s loads! I had a thing for Aladdin when Disney’s version came out, I’d love a threesome with the tenth doctor and The Master and I’d do anything for a ngiht with Tarantio from Dark Moon by David Gemell (he has a demon too!) and any of the guys I’ve written, I crush on them all!
(Hah! Another one who's guilty of multiple fictional crushes! It's not just me... ~S)
The steamiest scene from your books This is hard, excuse the pun, because so many are steamy and it’s all a matter of personal taste. I have heard many positive things about the desk scene in Temporary Insanity http://victoriablisse.co.uk/books/temporary-insanity, though.
Favourite comfort food? I love my carbs, pasta, bread, potatoes…combine it with cheese and I’m in comfort food heaven.
A person you admire My husband, Kev. He’s an absolute saint to put up with me!
Oops, sorry, I think I got stuck in comfort food heaven for a moment... Before I fall into a food-induced coma, let's finish with
The fast ones
Favourite colour? Manchester United red
Favourite pet?

Dog or cat? Both, though I am also allergic to them both!
Coffee or tea? Ick, neither.
Quickie or candles? Quickie
Hunky or chunky? Both, Rawr.
Suit & tie or jeans & boots? Suit and tie.
Walk in the park or chat over cocktails? Both, but we best do the walk thing first…
Thanks for being my guest, Victoria! I think I'll snuggle up with your book and a tub of ice cream now - and no, it won't be vanilla...

Poem: Love is Pain
Well, I'm not the world's greatest at poetry. Inspiration finds me sometimes, but so far it has all ended up in the bottom drawer. This one I kinda like though, so I'm making it the first that gets to see the light. Here it is
Love is Pain
Love is pain I hear you say And never worth the gain For every moment spent in bliss Comes with a price to pay
Your heart must learn to miss The counterpart it found Your soul will treasure memories Like a lover's voice's sound
Feelings are the casualties Of life's ironic twists That hold us in their clasp Like handcuffs to our wrists
And yet, when you grasp In the blink of an eye That moment in eternity When together you fly
Emotions turned certainty Your soul in tune with his Would you say in all honesty That you'd want to miss this?
The burden is life The talent is strength Letting go is the sacrifice And love's ultimate price

Blast from the Past
Hi all,
Welcome to this week's Blast from the Past. Those are snippets from the interviews I've given in the past, because some of my interviewers' questions were just too good to answer only once. They can be serious or funny, insightful or just plain naughty, so - Enjoy!
Here it goes:
Q: When and why did you begin writing?
A: I always wanted to be a writer but well, my muse kept avoiding me. He was probably not all that happy with my plan to write crime or maybe mainstream romance. Then one night I woke up with a character in my head and all those scenes. It was a bit scary, because for about a week, all those scenes just kept developing and more and more of the story presented itself to me until eventually, I picked up my laptop and started writing it down. I guess it was either that or going insane because yes, by that time I was tempted to actually talk to that guy. Sadly his story has yet to be published but a lot of other fascinating characters have taken over since and happily share the space inside my head.

Tuesday Teaser: Mary Corrales
Hi all,
Today's Tuesday Teaser may or may not enjoy a romantic setting to get in the mood for her erotic stories. She's guilty of multiple crushes on fictional heroes and she may or may not have physically affected yours truly with the sexy snippet which you will find below.
Ladies & Gentlemen, please give a warm welcome to Mary Corrales
Hi Mary, thanks for being my guest today. Take a seat, grab a cocktail and let's talk. Here are
The business ones
What genre(s) do you write in and why?
I write in various genres of male/female erotic romance. I'm partial to paranormal and futuristic/Scifi, but I've also written contemporary suspense eroticas.
Tell us about your latest release
Well, Love's Demon Ways is the story of Alexine Coridan and the way her broken heart and a one-night stand turned into an incredible love. Sometimes the worst situation can help us find the love of our lives.
Do you need a special setting to write in or do you have a ceremony to get you in the mood? What does it look like?
Oh yes. Soft music, a fire in my fireplace and lingerie. *snicker* Okay, not really. I just need quiet and time. I prefer to write in the morning before I start my housework, that way I feel that I've accomplished something that furthers my writing career.
Describe your feelings when you learned that your first book was accepted for publication.
My heart pounded and I laughed which quickly threatened to turn to happy tears. I called my mom and she was overjoyed for me. What a rush that moment was! The great thing is that I get that feeling again every time another manuscript is accepted.
Has the release of your first book changed anything in your personal life? If so, what?
Yes, I've become far more computer savvy and even blog and tweet now.
Where do you find inspiration?
From my everyday life although I do have a very active imagination.
Who is your favourite character and why?
No favourites. I love them all.
A favourite paragraph from one of your books
This is from by vampire erotic novella, Tasting Camilla:
He clenched his jaw against the effect of her sultry voice on his body. Damn vampires and their sexual allure. He’d made a living killing these creatures, and not until meeting Elisa had he ever gotten a hard-on from one.
Ah, those sexy vampires... Sigh. Anyway, it's time for
The nosy ones
How much of the real “you” is in your stories?
It's possible a character or psychological trait has made its way into my books, but I'd say they are 99.97% imagination.
Have you ever had a crush on a fictional character? Who was it?
Oh yes, I fall for every hero that I write. Each is their own person and each enriches my life in some way, the way a great boyfriend should. lol
What’s the silliest error in a book you’ve submitted?
I misspelled the heroine's name and the editor had to correct it...twice.
The steamiest scene from your books
Hmm, okay but I'm not responsible for any physical effects your readers may experience from this scene in Love's Demon Ways. *grin*
He pulled her close, molding her soft curves to his hard body. His hands brushed her wings and she shivered, kissing him back with fervor. He growled, wanting more.
Sliding his arms beneath her, he scooped her up, taking her to the nearest apple tree. Their tongues continued to dance the entire time. He put her on her feet then braced both hands on the wide trunk, caging her in.
If he wanted her compliance, he needed to conquer her indirectly. His instinct urged him to force her obedience, but his heart urged him to seduce her. She must submit to him willingly.
“Interested in a trick?” he murmured against her lips. He gazed at her plump and swollen mouth, enjoying its darkened pink coloration.
She nodded. Her tongue slipped out to caress her obviously tender lips.
He watched the quick movement, and the small hairs all over his body stood on end. He loved her
tongue and looked forward to seeing what other delights she could bring his body.
With both hands braced on the dead tree trunk he poured a slight amount of energy into the tree. It shivered. The energy he poured into it was a potent sexual fruition that caused small green leaves to sprout along with delicate white flowers. Each flower glowed like a dazzling pearl, luminescent from within.
Mmmm. Very nice. Thank you for that hot little snippet, Mary. I think we'd better move on now to
The fast ones
Favourite comfort food?

Favourite colour?

Hunky or chunky?

Alexine Coridan is lonely and unlucky in love. Vowing to live her life with no more regrets, she decides to have a one-night stand with the Nightfall Art Gallery’s reclusive owner, Ren Aloysius, but is he more than she is looking for? Blast from the Past
Hi all,
Welcome to this week's Blast from the Past. Those are snippets from the interviews I've given in the past, because some of my interviewers' questions were just too good to answer only once. They can be serious or funny, insightful or just plain naughty, so - Enjoy!
Here it goes:
Q: Contrary to what some people envision about a romance writer’s life, it’s not all glitz and glamor. Well not for the majority of us. With that bubble sadly busted, when you’re not writing, how do you spend your time?
A: I’m the lucky parent of a big and boisterous toddler who has set out to explore her world and everything in it. That alone keeps me well occupied. Combined with having a house and doing the administrative work being a writer brings with it, I could use an extra twelve hours in my day. Luckily I function quite well on an average of five to six hours of sleep, but believe me, if you saw me when I get up in the mornings, you’d forget all about that vision of glamour and glitz!

Luckily I function quite well on an average of five to six hours of sleep, but believe me, if you saw me when I get up in the mornings, you’d forget all about that vision of glamour and glitz!

New author tag line
Hi all,
It's officially spring and the perfect time to sweep out the house and make some changes. I've decided to take on a new author tag line, so from now on, it's
Sage Marlowe - Exploring the flavours of gay erotic fiction
I think this mirrors my, ahem, field of expertise better than the old line, so I hope you like it.
Cheers,
Sage
