Writing 9 Regions Update
All 9 Regions stories, notes and outlines are now typed up.
All 9 Regions now have names. I already had 5 names, it was just matter of creating 4 more. Easily done.
Now all the outlines and frameworks are typed up I can work on each story.
This will be done in slow time, any addition ideas will be typed up and added as I have them.
At least it eliminated a small pile from on top of the computer.
There are still 12 idea outlines there to work on and type up or finish.
I made a small hole and achieved what I set out to do today.
I call that a win in my book.

Checking In, As Promised
I said I would yesterday. So here I am.
Feeling a great deal better than yesterday, that was a deep one. Sorry to lay it on you lot as well but it happened.
I want to send a personal message of thanks to Dominic Hamer of Ruthless Peoples Magazine for taking time out of his life to send me that email. It was extremely thoughtful and very kind. For a guy who’s only ever read 1 thing I ever submitted he was really nice about my post yesterday. We need more people like him when we’re depressed.
Todays aim is to type up some 9 Regions stuff.
I’m eating dinner right now so hopefully once I’ve got some fuel in me I’ll feel slightly more alive.
Mood has picked up, it did improve a little yesterday but I ended up going to bed in the end.
Gonna try and find an outline for this weeks Bradbury Challenge from my pile.
The only idea I’ve had this week felt a bit stake and had no ending.
And according to Googles auto-complete, I was the 1st person to ever Google Amelia Earhart lesbian.
Once the sun has moved & ISN’T shining right into my face I’ll open the curtains & get me some sun therapy too.
I struggle in bright light, due to the glaucoma.
Righty, off to finish food then work on 9 Regions stuff.
Be lovely to each other.

NFI, Not Feeling It
I’ll start by being totally honest, you’re about to see a swear word.
NFI actually means Not Fucking Interested.
Right, that’s out of the way.
I am totally NOT feeling like writing at the moment.
Yesterday. Today.
My moods are SUPER low on the writing desires.
Might be the old black dog, Mister Depression.
Whatever it is, I just can NOT find it in myself to do any creative writing at the moment.
I know from previous experience these swings do happen, the longest one was for 5 weeks.
At least that’s the longest recorded one since I started writing properly.
Obviously this blog entry doesn’t count, this is just me telling you how I feel. Generally shitty.
This may spell disaster for the Bradbury Challenge.
Current number of fucks given? None.
All I really want to do is sleep and sleep and sleep.
Intake of fluids isn’t helping.
I went to get some food, I couldn’t even be bothered to do that.
Sleep might be a good thing at this point.
I’ll check back in with you if things improve.

Health Update
Was doing morning ablutions and got to the Ocular hygiene bit when I discovered I’ve got another loose(ish) mass in my lower left eyelid. It’s nothing to panic about, I’ve had it happen before.
They eventually work themselves completely loose and just come out on their own.
There is some blood associated with that though.
When it happened for the 1st time last year I was SUPER scared, thinking my eye had hemorraged as I’d recently had my laser surgery. Luckily no, it was just a chalazion/granuloma working its way out.
Their incurable (great, two incurable conditions!) apparently.
And reoccur on a semi-regular basis.
At least this time I know how to deal with it and what to expect.
In the next few days I’ll probably wake up with blood down half of my face, that’s what happened last time.
I know this all sounds quite gory and fairly scary and I might sound quite blase about the whole thing.
That’s because I’m fully aware of the situation and what to expect.
Knowledge makes shit less scary, let me tell you.
I just thought I’d let you know, it might explain my recent eyelid inflamation too.
I’m hoping it won’t effect my Bradbury Challenge writing but I can’t be sure.
There is some mild discomfort right now, I’ll use some artificial tears to sort that.
Any, at least you know what’s going on with me right now.

More?
And another story submitted to The Sirens Call, closing date march 31st.
Take this as a statement of intent, if I see a market that’s open to submission & I’ve got something I think will fit then I’m submitting to it.
If you don’t enter, you can’t win.
I now have 6 stories out there. 6 chances.

Another submission? Yes!
To Wicked Words Quarterly, a weird horror piece of 1400 words.
It was an extra story from the Bradbury Challenge.
Hopefully they like it. Closes in 60 days.
As I’m out of fingers to cross, I’ll cross my toes.
Wish me luck.

Another new submission sent
This time to Ruthless Peoples Magazine.
Just shy of their 1000 word limit.
Not sure if they’ll like it. Fingers are crossed.
I figure the more pay markets I try, the better chance of a return.

There’s something up!
My newest published flash piece “Back From The War“ is now on the front page of Farther Stars Than These.
Direct story URL:- http://www.fartherstars.com/2014/03/32014.html
Thanks to Earl Wynn for taking another chance on one of my stories.

New free ebook out!
And it’s not even the first of a new month yet!
This one had been in development for two (count them!) whole years.
Yes it’s short but there was a lot to research to get a certain aspect factually correct.
Today is this stories 2nd birthday. Happy birthday, story!
