Happy Holidays…
Sharing for the first time a book I made a few years back for my boys. I’ve done this for the past 12 years… Posting this today instead of working on this year’s book because I’ve been so busy working 80-100 hour weeks that I’ve put it off until the last possible minute and now I’m drawing a big fat blank.
It's ok everybody... the world isn't going to end. The Vatican's top astronomer said so...
Four hundred years after the Roman Catholic Church put Galileo on trial for heresy based on his belief that the Earth revolved around the Sun and not the other way round, the Vatican is rather more forgiving of the science of astronomy…
"NASA has predicted a period of darkness occurring on 12/21/12…. They’re are calling it “night”."
zombies?
Tomorrow? Or just sun flares and fucked up cell service? Or the cancellation of a dozen doomsday and apocalypse themed reality shows on TLC, Discovery and Science?
I’m voting for ABC’s triumphant T.G.I.F. primetime return of “PerfectI Strangers”, “Family Matters” and “Full House” ringing in the end of the world.

Mornings are the worst. The mind seems undefended, easy prey for both memories and imagination. What happened. What should’ve happened. What might happen someday. Your fault, my fault, no one’s fault. The only way to relieve the torment is to get up, empty the bladder, drink the coffee, read the paper, run the treadmill, perform the animal sacrifice, paint the chicken blood on the groin and call upon the demonic spirits to bring you back.
Nights are bad too. Once again, exhaustion makes the mind vulnerable to obsessing over woulda, shoulda, coulda. The only thing to do is sit alone and eat the chicken which was senselessly murdered in the morning.
