cryptic things are cryptic yo
post will be created with a simple <Atbash Cipher> for words I want to elude the crawl…
I have an obsession hole that needs filled. Ever since the <fhvmvg> war of 2012 and the subsequent collapse of the <MAY> community, namely <maynzgirc>, I’ve been in a bit of a mental funk. Most of you will undoubtedly be scratching your heads and have no idea what I’m talking about but for someone like me this is a big fucking deal. I’ve been able to channel certain aspects of myself into time consuming collections and tasks. This keeps me occupied and focused. For more than a decade I’ve been accumulating a movie archive for my own personal satisfaction. It started long before that, but it was in the last 12 years that I became obsessed with <fhvmvg> and the other side of the world wide web, behind the veil of <gsv lmrlm ilfgvi>. I don’t want to go into a lot of detail here because of reasons that those who know what I’m talking about will understand. In fact, that’s why I’m posting this using the Atbash.
For more than a decade I’ve been <wldmolzwrmt> between 500GB to 1TB of data each month behind a <EKM> using <yrmhvzixs>, <MHYnzgirc>, <HZYmayw> and <zhgizdvy>. That roughly breaks down to 100 - 200 movies per month for my own personal collection. Each one archived into a spreadsheet and tucked away for no reason other than filling a void. More than 20,000 movies sit in spindles, nylon books of all sizes, shelves, amray boxes, slimline cases and plastic sleeves. They are in 30 gallon tupperware containers, Gilden T-shirt boxes and aligned under my bed. Some are displayed (for whatever reason), others are archived while some are backed up off-site because of their rarity or the difficulty in which they were attained made the thought of replacing them seem less daunting if I had a backup.
Was this <roovtzo>? I had rationalized it as not because they were being used for my own sanctity and not for profit. Also because of how they were obtained. The nature of what I was doing fell into a large gray area. <Gsv nlervh dviv wrerwvw rmgl sfmwivwh lu kzigh gsvm krvxvh dviv ivnlevw. R dlfow wldmolzw zoo lu gsv yilpvm kzigh, gsvm wldmolzw zoo lu gsv nrhhrmt krvxvh zh dvoo zh gsv mvxvhhzib kzigh gl ivkzri gsv urovh. Each week I would get on <erwvlvgz.xln> and see what was being released on Tuesday. I’d add all relevant titles to a queue and start up the mad monster. I was fine as long as the saga continued. Now it has stopped and I’m doing more than freaking out.
I’ve looked into all possible alternatives but have finally decided I need to quit cold turkey. It sounds like a good plan but I’m having a really hard time moving forward.
I know no one is reading at this point and I certainly doubt anyone has taken the time to fuck with the cipher so this is more of a post for me than it is anyone else. Sure I could have made it private but where’s the fun in that?
This actually may be a little bit of a blessing in disguise. The DVD format is about to be defunct anyway. My next project may be to find an Asian distributor of blank Blu-rays and start converting the archive to a format for the coming decade. You can fit 5 4.3GB ISO’s onto a Blu-ray… I’d be able to compress the existing archive to 4,000 discs which would fit into the twenty 200-disc books sitting below my active t-shirt collection…

Tomorrow is the last day to get LOST IN INFINITY for free
remember it’s not just for Kindle. You can download it to any electronic device using the free Kindle App.
Get the free app here
Then get LOST IN INFINITY here
I’ll run a pinned post tomorrow for the last time (promise) since I’ve already clogged your dash enough this week.
I'm currently starring in an off-off-broadway one-man-show reenactment of LEAVING LAS VEGAS...
…starring 4 dozen sugar cookies in the role of the golden hearted prostitute, Sera previously made famous by Elisabeth Shue and a medley of chocolate, caramel and peanut butter taking the place of vodka, whiskey and rum. It’s a family show.
