Oh Happy Days!

Well, a few good things have happened since I last wrote here. I've been getting more and more pieces ready for the next two publications which should happen this year, I hope. One will be a color picture and story book, the other will be the fractal mystery realized (complete with a mystery to solve). The fractal one will not have a paperback version as that would not make sense (that I can conceive). That being said, I will keep you updated on these pieces as they're finalized. In the meantime, here is the B&W version of 1000001 American Nights . Since it doesn't have awesome color pics you'll miss out a little, but not really that much. Check it out and, of course, sharing is caring.
Not sure when, but some time ago I mentioned the pens and pencils I used to write. It's funny or a testament to the simplicity of life that I have regressed from trying to find a pen with the best ink or mechanical pencil with the best feel to simply using these Number 2 pencils and a paper pad . How about you? What do you find yourself writing the most with these days?

Thanks again to Intersections and It's Complicated for publishing these short essays of mine. Long Hand of the Pigeon is  about myths and the spells words can cast on us in real life. While the Veteran and Pitbullitus is a look at the current siege mentality in our nation today.

On Stories in the World (physical rather than the ether)

  So I'll be writing more about the new kinds of stories out there, but one of them will have to be, just have to be stories by discovery. In other words, stories I've placed around the physical world. The day will come when I'll start putting out clues for these, but some of the places (Spokane public library, and, as pictured above, my favorite Seattle Public Library) you know and, like I said, you have to be there to read them. I think this adds to the joy of reading a short story or poem. 
Clues to come, but some will be in the medium series section I mentioned earlier. Enjoy!

New Kind of Story

Now, I think I may have mentioned my turn away from the normal kind of storytelling, and I've included both my youtube channel and other forms with which I've been experimenting. Nevertheless, I'm using Medium which seems to have some of the most innovative ways of allowing us writers to experiment with its new series. You need their app, but I believe this to be worth the 10 seconds that will take. So check it out as I expand this and put out some new stories . You'll love them!

So you may have noticed that my OM (odd musings) posts have been on hiatus. That's because I've been writing for another blog . It has some other great writers (and some other veterans) on it as well, so you should head over there and check it out. I'm pretty sure that this is some of the better works I've put out there.

paperback is out.

All right, just so you know, the paperback for 1000001 American Nights is out . Here it is.  Unfortunately, it's 80$ I am trying to get the price down (otherwise it's only a novelty item), but the color photos, essential to some stories are bringing the price up. I'll get back to you about the matter when I can find a better solution.

Finally!

Welp, it's finally here, 1000001 American Nights. The Ultimate Short Story collection is here. It essentially covers many of my shorts from before 2017. Note that 1000001 refers to the binary number. Fitting, given the age we're pushing forward into. So check it out, put out the word to people you know and get back here to tell me what you think about it.
