News: I’m Falling Behind

1/28/16

I am falling way behind on my to-do list this month, but it’s not entirely my fault. I keep getting emails from LT3 with important due dates on them! The first round of edits for Magnified ended up being very involved and took a while to return. Soon after sending Magnified back, I received the copy edits for Dragon Deception. I returned those and not even a day later I got the first round of edits for Dragon Detective, which I’m now working on. Don’t misunderstand, I...

News: Submissions and Editing

1/20/16

I finished all the edits for Magnified and needed to let it sit for a day before I could begin a final read-through. While I was waiting, I decided to take a look at two of my stories that are complete, but needed their own final editing check before I could submit them. Ner Li and Ge-Mi: Part One had both been waiting for about a month, so it was time to go through them. I liked what I read, made some quick changes, and ended up finishing them both. They have been submitted to LT3. I...

News: I’m Still Alive

I have no idea where January’s gone. I looked at the date today and realized that it’s halfway through the month and I haven’t written one blog posting, which isn’t like me. Keeping my readers updated on my writing and my books is important to me and I’m clearly failing this month. I apologize.

There is an official release date for Dragon Dilemma, book three in my Supernatural Consultant series. June 1, 2016. It should be available for preorder within a few month...

December Goals: Results

I’m still a little bit shocked at how much I was able to get written this month. I am very happy with what I was able to get accomplished. Here’s how I did:

Edits. Dragon Dilemma is back with LT3. I don’t have an official release date just yet, but with the editing done it shouldn’t be too long before I know more.

Ge-Mi. I didn’t exactly complete this goal. Ge-Mi ended up getting pushed aside for some of my other stories. Part One is complete, which is still amaz...

News: What I’ve Gotten Done

12/29/15

I’ve finished writing two stories this month, which is probably a record for me. The first was Justified. I’m really excited to have it complete as it was the biggest and most involved project on my to-do list. It still needs editing, but I’m very happy with how it turned out. I will need to write a third book to finish the series, however I’m going to wait to start that until after Justified has been submitted.

The other story I completed was my Hanukkah stor...

News: I’ve Shocked Myself

12/20/15

I’ve been very open about the fact that I have a problem with sticking to one story. I’m a serial hopscotcher, unable to stay focused on writing one story for more than a few hours (or days if I’m really lucky) before moving on to another one. This is the primary reason I’ve never been able to participate in NaNo: I honestly can’t write fifty thousand words in a month in only one story. I can write fifty thousand words in multiple stories in a month, but...

News: Accepted Submission

12/14/15

The Case of the Wandering Wolves was accepted by LT3. Sort of… I submitted it as part of their Private Dicks call and LT3 instead asked to take it as a stand-alone. This is the second time this has happened to me and I am happy with the idea. The first was The Oracle’s Flame, so you know how amazingly well it ended up turning out. TCotWW was always supposed to be part of a series. I could never manage to get the stories off the ground, which is why I turned towards submi...
