News: Where Has This Month Gone?

7/25/16

I swear, July just started. It was literally just the first week of July an hour ago. Why the heck is my calendar telling me it’s actually the last week instead? I can’t believe how quickly this month has flown past and how little I’ve been able to accomplish this entire time. I thought I still had plenty of time to finish my goals, but it looks like that’s not going to happen. That’s not good; I’ll have to work even harder next month.
Magnified is...

News: Lots of Edits

7/8/16

This past week has been all about the edits. First, I finished the overdue edits for Dragon Soldier. I was a few days late getting them back, but it wasn’t bad enough to cause any problems with the release. I’m hoping the editor can save me, since I couldn’t quite figure out the issue they wanted me to fix. I made an honest attempt, but it still needs some help. I’ll let you know how it goes when the editor finishes the second round of edits and LT3 sends them ba...

HAVE YOU PICKED UP YOUR COPY OF DRAGON DILEMMA BY MELL EIGHT?

Dragon Dilemma by Mell Eight is a paranormal/urban fantasy gay romance from LT3 Press, Book Three of the Supernatural Consultant series.

Dane doesn’t get along with his parents. He hasn’t spoken with his mother in years and he’s never met his father. Somehow his mother finds out about Mercury and the kits anyway, and it’s difficult to throw one’s mother out when she happens to be a powerful, dangerous witch.

Sh...

June Goals: Results

June was a difficult month. I finished training, moved, and started at my new job. It was stressful, exhausting, and very time consuming. All things writing got pushed aside because my real life was far too hectic. I did manage to get some things done, though.

Be Prepared. I returned the copy edits for Magnified to LT3 and made a lot of progress on the edits for Dragon Soldier. There’s still more work to do in Soldier, but I don’t think I did too badly.

Writing. Surprisingly I was...

News: New Developments

6/26/16

Magnified is up for pre-order! It is the longest and most intricate story I’ve ever written. Vampires and werewolves, a touch of magic, and a bit of intrigue. I loved writing this story and am extremely excited for it to come out. September 7th is the big day, so make sure to get your copy now: https://lessthanthreepress.com/books… The best part is LT3 is having a massive sale in June for a few more days, so right now you can get it for 32% off instead of the usual 15% di...

News: What I’m Up To

6/19/16

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, so I thought I should pop my head up to say hello. I’m completely moved in to my new apartment, which took a while. It’s a nice place, but it always takes a few months for me to really settle in so I’m still adjusting. I’m also still getting used to my new job. The morning commute is 45 minutes, which is awful, but the office is moving locations in a few months and my commute will be cut in half. When th...

June Goals

As I’ve said a few times, I’m in the process of moving. It’s stressful and time consuming and I haven’t had much in the way of free time. I’m starting the new job next Monday, so I have no idea when or if things will calm down. Hopefully I’ll be able to get some more writing done, but like the last few months I can’t make any promises.

Be Prepared. I need to be ready for any edits and whatnot that come my way. I’m expecting the copy edits for Ma...

May Goals: Results

I’m running late on my goals this month. Very late. In my defense I’m in the process of moving and that’s taking up a lot of my time. Here’s how I did in May:

Be Prepared. I returned the copy edits for Dragon Dilemma and Dragon Detective to LT3. I also returned the first round of edits for the Case of the Wandering Wolves. I haven’t received any additional edits.

Writing. Unlike the last few months, I was able to get some writing done. The Case of the Hopping Hare...
