20 more to go before I can assemble Amber’s new blanket. I wanted a celtic aran design, but couldn’t find any for granny squares (that I liked). I’m gonna have to learn it and come up with my own pattern. First time I’ve done something like this.

Thought I’d show the blanket I wanna replace with the one you see me working on. This is Amber (13 yr old Pom mix) with her green blanket. That is the blanket I’m working to replace. She’s had it her whole life and I wanna give her a new specially m...

Sunday, February 12, 2012 at 5:23pm – Which Title grabs your attention?

Dark Dangers
Night Awaits
Soul Dangers
Unwilling Destiny
Shadows Calling
Secret’s Bound
Dark Illusions
Arisen

That is too funny. I published Dark Illusions at the end of 2011 and back then it was titled “Awakened: The Beginning.” I noticed too many authors who were publishing books with that title “Awaken...

Mina/Mila and Alex/Stefan connection

milastefanconnection

Just heard this song and it’s a little too perfect to describe the thoughts and actions that constantly go through Mila and Alex’s mind inWitness to the Moon (second in the Enchanting the Moon Seriesafter Don’t Go Far). They both have their reasons for not going through with what they want, but at the same time, it’s getting to the point where they can’t deny what’s happening and where it’s going. I think they are coming to accept that and just letting everything else grow around it.

No matte...

Lycaen Claiming

IMG_20160205_201140Lycaen Claiming

REFERENCE BLOOD BY NIGHT – PAGE 75
The Claiming of a mate happened when they shared each other’s blood and they both bit one another. Not just any bite. There was one certain bite a Lycaen gave when he/she Claimed someone as mate. A certain chemical released through the wolf’s fangs that forever bonded one to the other and genetically changed each. It was near orgasmic, which is why puberty stayed responsible for when claiming occurred in the old days.

Many teens tried to Cla...

An adequately creepy movie

So this morning my brother rented two movies. One isThe Last Witch Hunter and the other isThe Visit. Now, if you’re like me and that name draws a blank, this should refresh your memory.

If you’re looking for a very adequately creepy movie to watch, this is a good one. I watched it in the morning, so it really shouldn’t have gotten to me, but it did. I’m not scared that easy either. When I first watched it, I saw the first POV and went, great. I don’t really like first POV filming. But since i...

You are perfect as is.

IMG_20160130_213811

In this world of fast paced advanced living, it’s a sad fact that many believe the only way to be seen is to give themselves up by the camera. All they crave is someone to say, “I see you. I am here.” And even more to back up those words. They don’t want to be forgotten in the crowd. They want to be accepted as is. But how many go without? The biggest craving any human being wants is to just have someone BE THERE. No judgement. No condescending. No negativity. No Devil’s Advocate (which is si...
