Kindred spirits

Interesting is when two people come together who inadvertently bring out the best, and maybe in some ways, worst in each other. Anora has to watch herself around Storm because of how smart he is. There is a challenge between these two. I think their previous moments together made them both realize that there is something there. Maybe not an in-love sort of thing, but there is some sort of connection between these two characters.

Now why would he stop?

Storm was a bit surprising today.He is coming across as a very vulgar man who wants nothing more than to force himself on women and for them to satisfyhisneeds. Well, today he did something with miss Anora that was surprising to me. He’s showing that he has some interesting depths that I might have overlooked. This bad guy might actually have a bit more depth than I gave him credit for.

My editor got back to me over the weekend and let me know that she may be done withDaughter of the Red Plan...

Now it’s getting interesting

Now it’s getting interesting.I’m starting to think that there is a very interesting connection between what Anora hears at night and what she hears during the day. I think she’s about to tell us exactly what her nightmare is.

Had a really nice hour of writing today. I started around my normal time – 10 AM so that helped immensely!

Dun dun dun

So now we find out what has freaked Anora out in the middle of the night. And of course I’m not telling you anything silly billy. You have to wait until I write the book, then edit the book, and theeennnn publish it. :D

The first hint of trouble

Anora has woke in the middle of the night and I don’t think she knows why. I’m curious to see how her kidnapper is going to deal with this little kink in his plans.

When I thought this up the first time, I was sure we would have a direct view of what went on in the nightmare. Now I’m not so sure. We’ll see what happens.

Good amount of words today. If I average over 1500 words every day like I have been, I could finish this book in only 2 1/2 months, or 3, versus the four that I was first thin...

Getting going with Anora

Couple things

A bit surprisedat the words I managed to write. I had a heck of a time gettingany program to open so I could write today. My laptop was all . . . nope . . . still no . . . we’re not working right now. haha

I determined the other day that it will take 4 months or less to write this book as long as I hit my “at least” 1000 words a day goal. Sooner if I write on the weekends, sooner if I keep doing above 1000. I’m not purposely trying to rush though. 4 months is just fine. There may come...

Day late, but still a win

Technically I wrote yesterday.Buuuut, I am posting this on Saturday. I had the release ofBlood by Nightyesterday (thank you to the ones who’ve purchased it!) and I was trying to get my newsletter fixed to send. I was wiped by the time I wrote it so I’m sure I forgot some of the stuff I wanted to include. Typical. I’m also wiped today. Amber (Pom mix – 14 years in May) didn’t let us sleep. I’ve officially begun the Anora – Druid novel.And then it occurs to me as I am, I should get started on a cover for it too. I happened to think just now, I ran across a couple images that may work for a cover. Or at least a cover for this blog series as I write the book. I’ll have to work on that soon. We have reached the finish line! Next.

I finished Witness to the Moon this week. [dances and celebrates] That means that tomorrow I can start on my Anora – Druid Story.

I definitely didn’t expect to end the story at such a low number, but as I’ve stated before, in my edits I can tend to put a lot into the story with details.
