Almost done! Nearing the end #amwriting #fantasy

Royal Blood - Book Two - KennedyWorking onSylphline Realm – Royal Bloodthis week.

I’m near the end of this book and can’t even begin to say how happy that makes me. It’s not that I’m tired of it, just that I always love finishing a book! Makes me want to do a little happy dance. Super fun. Feeling prettydamn good.

Then I can start a new book. :D

Didn’t see the ending coming that’s in this book and that I’m headed toward. Gotta admit, it’s like fshewy.

Was a bit busy this morning. After writing, I went to get the mower star...

Not much to say, too much to do

Royal Blood - Book Two - KennedyWorking onSylphline Realm – Royal Bloodthis week.

Ooo Kennedy is being tested today in this chapter I’m working on. She has to play a part she really doesn’t like and I feel for the poor woman. All to protect herself and a little girl from a bad bad man.

Got a lot to do and gotta get back to editing so not much to chat about. Wrote from 10:45 am – 11:15 am.

Don’t forget to read the free preview of Blood By Night

Blood By Night – Chapter One

“I refuse to marry him.” Pacing in front of her father’s desk with her hands on her hips, Kylarra suppressed the growl working its way up. Her aggravation was as clear as day. The dark interior of Viktor’s office grew darker with her mood. Normally it was a place of comfort. Today, anything but.

“Kylarra—” Viktor Knox began.

“No, dad. I won’t marry Verrick Conrad. How—”

Her father held up his hand. “Do not interrupt me.” The command from the alpha Lycaen silenced her at once, meeting no...

May be finishing this series with this book

Royal Blood - Book Two - Kennedy

Working onSylphline Realm – Royal Blood (Book Two in the series)this week.

Curious where this book is going. I think this could be the last one in this series since I’m nearing the end and wrapping up the details that I wanted to with this storyline, but any writer worth their salt won’t say “ever” in terms of another book in a certain series. Thoughts go to Anne Rice who has done that and then realized that she shouldn’t have. Love her.

One just never knows. It was the fans who builtDark Ill...

This week is Kennedy’s turn, further along than I thought

Royal Blood - Book Two - KennedyWorking onSylphline Realm – Royal Bloodthis week. I finished the cover idea yesterday, but I’m still tweaking. It’s not the final, but I’ll upload it and use it on this post for a placeholder.

Thanks to the change in time, I got up late – shocking! lolSo my day is off. Had we not had the time change, I would’ve been up early for a change. Berghs.

I’m further along than I thought I was for this book. I guess I forgot to update my word count tracker. I could go see what the last blog post was...

Book cover design time fun

Crown of Ice - Book One - Kennedy

Working today on book covers. Have five open. So far I think I have one for the first and second in the Sylphline Realm series, now I just need one for the third. And then I am working on the covers for the first and second in my Cody series. I also have a third going, despite not even having a third book in mind. Just in case. I’m still tweaking them. The font for the book title ismaking me go back and forth. As well as the color and placement.

Also worked out titles for the Kennedy series....

Satisfied with those results, love this book/series

I’m very happy with my numbers today. Admittedly, maybe 300 words give or take is notes. I’m back to the way I used to write. I’ve read so many different styles and have tried a lot of different methods. I’ve done the outlining, the not outlining and I am noticing that I still tend to jot notes down at the end of my MS’s as I write, which are story details to include. I may jot a quick note to myself about where I was at so that if I’m leaving writing...

Spring couldn’t come soon enough

Official CoverWorking onWitness to the Moonthis week.

Didn’t write yesterday because I hadn’t slept much so most the brain shut down. My knee decided to hire some little monsters to carve it up into pieces and I made the mistake of thinking that stretching the muscles out would help. Oh boy howdy did it do anything but. It made things worse. I can’t believe how much it hurt. I was too tired to wander into the kitchen and try getting some Advil since I knew it was so close to time to just get out of bed. I...

Rambly Bambly time.

Official CoverWorking onWitness to the Moonthis week.

What do I have to ramble about today? My brain is a mess because I’m trying to do a bunch of things at once. My mom asked if I’d make some homemade bread and banana bread. Now I couldn’t make the traditional banana bread that I personally make because we have no sour cream so I made a traditional banana bread like most people make. For the regular bread, I made Challah bread. We love to snack on it. I don’t do the braid, I do a regular loaf. And when I...

Gonna stick with Witness to the Moon this week

Official CoverWorking onWitness to the Moonthis week. Figured out why my word count was off from the other day. I was writing just fine, but wouldn’t you know, every program gave me a darn different number! I would’ve opened my old Word 2002, but removing the Office from this laptop took the Word 2002 with it. :/ I have to reinstall it in case I want to use it. Until I buy the license for WPS Office(if I do), I can’t save PDF with it and a couple other things. So I’ll use Word to do that.

Now see, these ar...
