A small note for 2018: love the ones you love with no shame, keep them close. The ones that hurt, hold at arm’s length. Be proud of yourself, for your smaller achievements, for your larger ones, for anything that has made you happy. Be honest with yourself, remember that you are fallible and human and easily hurt. Grow constantly. Take criticism and use it to be better. Fill your home with plants, care for them. Love the vulnerabilities in you. Tend to your tenderness. Stay warm, stay open, stay full.

what is your most sacred way to practice self care?

Getting rid of toxic people who are hurting me.

What is your favorite thing about your best friend?

There are probably a thousand good things about my best friend, she’s the most wonderful person I know but I guess the thing I love most about her is that she doesn’t take anything out of me. Usually people take energy from you, no matter how much you love them. Eventually you need a break but Tanya feels like an extension of myself, she is so much on the same wavelength as me I’m exactly the same version of myself with or without her, she doesn’t take anything. Just gives. Pure sunshine.
