Hi, hope your having a good Ramadan. I am starved of your posts. Are you going through a dry spell/writers block or just not posting?

It’s really a bit of both at the moment, I’ve got a big backlog from my writing masters but it’s all quality so I’d like to compile it into a book and get that published. I’ve also just started a new job and have a lot going on in my personal life as well so it’s all just a bit much at the moment.

hey guys, there is a lot of you on here and I’m throwing this out in the hopes someone will be able to help me. I’ve made some big life decisions in the past two years and these are things I’ve had to hide because of my religion and culture. I am tired of pretending now, it affects my mental health and it affects my happiness. I want to be honest and I want to write a letter to my parents who are Bengali. Because of that there’s restrictions in our full understanding of each other. If anyone is able to translate English to Bengali and are willing to do that for me I would be so eternally grateful. You’d be helping me to make the next step in my life.

Hello! I wanted to update y'all on this situation and say that my parents know. I sent the letter out to them about three weeks ago. It’s been extremely difficult for my family and for me and I’m hoping that someday in the future, they’ll allow their love for me to be stronger than their scorn. Thank you for all your help and kind messages!

can you please do us a book recommendation list as well? :) I'm interested in what your favourite books are and I'm itching to read something interesting.

I’ve not been reading a huge amount recently but I want to start reading again, it makes me happier. I just finished Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine and that was a really lovely read. Night Sky With Exit Wounds by Ocean Vuong and I’ve just bought American Gods by Neil Gaiman so I’m going to be starting on that soon ❤️
