A little note from Ally

Hi everyone!

I know I haven’t been posting much, and I apologize for that. I truly due.

See…there. I typed “due” instead of “do”.

I started to correct it, but I think it illustrates quite nicely where my head is at. You see, EMBASSY ROW (my NEW series!) is DUE December 1st, and I’m madly trying to–not just finish–but make the book extraordinary.

Because I love these characters and this story SO much, and I do not want to look back in 6 or 12 or 60 years and say “wow, I wish I’d gotten Embassy Row...

Magnificent Halloween Week!

Hi All!

We have been eating Halloween donuts, cookies, and pumpkin flavored everything here at my house! I love Halloween and taking my daughter trick-or-treating. Any of you dressing up? If so, what as?

Hi everyone!

As we near November, I know quite a few of you are probably gearing up for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).

People frequently ask if I do/ have ever done NaNoWriMo. The answer is that I have only done it officially one time (November 2007 when I was writing Don’t Judge A Girl By Her Cover), but I write all of my first drafts very quickly (usually in six weeks or so) so you might say that I do NaNoWriMo all the time. Just on my own.
