World’s Cutest Cover!

Hi everyone,

A very exciting post today! I’m SO HAPPY to share the (absolutely gorgeous) cover for the holiday anthology MY TRUE LOVE GAVE TO ME.

See? I told you it was gorgeous! The cover art is by Jim Tierney, and I think it’s just amazing. (Rumor has it there will be even more original art accompanying each story.)

I’m so honored to be included in this wonderful collection.

Magnificent Sticky Monday

Hey Everyone!

So I was watching the Sunday Morning show and they had a whole segment on duct tape and how popular and trendy it is. I remember a few years ago kids around here were crazy about it but I am not so sure it is still that cool.

NEW ORLEANS!

Hi everybody!

Ally here.

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I actually have a couple of pretty good reasons for that.

First, I have just completed copyedits for EMBASSY ROW! What does that mean? Well, it means going through the entire manuscript (about 300 pages) with a fine tooth comb to make sure of things like “should fine tooth be two words? Or one word? Or one hyphenated word? IS IT FINE-TOOTH? OR FINE-TOOTHED? Someone please help me!!!!!

That is what copyedits are. And they are now over!

Another writing post–what Jen said

Hi all,

Another quick post today on the subject of writing and publishing and–more specifically–publishing at a very young age.

As many of you know, my BFF is Jennifer Lynn Barnes. Jen published her first novel when she was a teenager, and she writes very thoughtfully on the subject right here.

I highly recommend you read it. Especially if you’re someone who has made a goal like “I will publish a novel by the time I’m 18!”
