Ask Ally: the writing and publishing edition

Hi everyone!

As we near November, I know quite a few of you are probably gearing up for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo).

People frequently ask if I do/ have ever done NaNoWriMo. The answer is that I have only done it officially one time (November 2007 when I was writing Don’t Judge A Girl By Her Cover), but I write all of my first drafts very quickly (usually in six weeks or so) so you might say that I do NaNoWriMo all the time.
