Friday Flash Fiction (19) Frozen Moments

Well, another week has flown, and here we are, Friday. Yes! *Fist Pump* It's flash fiction! Although, I cheated and posted a flash fiction yesterday as well, but it couldn't be helped. Feel free to stay awhile and read my other posts :)

Anyway, this picture was chosen by the always charming and salacious, Benjamin Russell. Be sure to check out his…blog. {Gutter minds, the lot of you!} Don't deny it, I know what you were thinking :D

Without further ado: a 100 word story. No more, no less.

"Ew...

Flash Fiction ~ Sadness

The pounding of her heart intensifies with every beat, every breathe, every thought until she fears it will explode and thud against the cold tile floor she lays coiled on. The water is hot yet she trembles, her teeth chattering as a sheen of icy sweat coats her slender frame.

Ryanne wraps her arms around herself, attempting to control the deep sobs threatening to spill from her heart and out her mouth. Her lips purse and she squeezes her eyes shut, trying and failing to forget.

Forget–.

The...

Flash Fiction Friday (18) Continued

Hey ya'll, it's Friday and that means a 100 word story from a picture prompt. I'm joined by some rather awesome flashers, so saddle up and let's roll.

Last week, poor Sara was humiliated, you all wanted to know why, well, today maybe you'll find out.

This weeks photo was chosen by Lee Brazil

After endless moments staring out the window, I picked up the phone and dialed Amelia.

"You apologize to your daughter." I said without preamble.

A long pause and then a slurred female voice said, "Jack? That...

A little something different… Worth continuing and fleshing out? WDYT

When Veri and I walked into Bukowski's bar in the Backbay of Boston, all heads swiveled our way. The bar was small, dark, and smoky, a dive of epic proportions. All by it's lonesome, nestled on the street corner, it promised us food and drink.

The food being lust, the drink being blood.

Veri dressed up for our feast, and every eye in the bar roamed her barely dressed figure with open lust, pheromones swirling in the air, ripe for the taking. Males and females ravished her and I drank it all i...

Release Party! ~ Yea baby! Fractured Moon is available

Welcome to my release party. Yea, you read that right. I'm throwing myself a release party. Why not, right? Writing Fractured Moon has given me so much joy. And heartache. Writing is tough. It's cathartic and emotional, and also a little crazy. Have you ever had people talking in your head? Voices make me sound crazy, but that's exactly what happens. They whisper to me, and force me to write by withholding sleep. (I wonder if they have a hold over my son, and that's why he is a shitty...

Fractured Moon is available and OMG Squee!! Let's talk reviews…

Excuse me while I do a little dance hollering "I'm a real author!" a la Pinocchio. I never thought this day would come, and at the same time, have been moving towards this moment for a year. It's surreal to think that something I wrote is available for sale, and that people have actually purchased Fractured Moon.

So, let's get onto more meaty issues, shall we?

Reviews. Let's just get this out there for you all to see. I love reviews. Good reviews, bad reviews, funny reviews, fully animated GIF ...

CHAPTER ONE

One Year Ago

Murder pounded in my blood.

"I can't believe I let her talk me into this," I huffed under my breath, cursing my best friend Astrid. The wench is lucky I love her, dammit.

Said friend currently strut her stuff on stage, microphone in hand, calling out bids like a seasoned auctioneer. Her perky charisma, large blue eyes and flaming hair...

Forbidden

I lay still, encased in the worm cocoon created by heated sheets. My eyes are closed and the door creaks open.

He is coming.

His steps are soft on the padded carpet, as soothing ocean waves crest over my mind. Heaven and Hell.

He sits on a low stool behind my head, and his breath eases across my ear as his deep, heavy, voice whispers, "Let's begin."

His timber sings to me. Mesmerizes me. Holds me captive. Awaiting his every command.

Large hands massage my head, making me tingle. Easing me...

Flash Fiction Friday (17)

Flash fiction is here again. Yippee! 100 words to tell a story, no more…no less.

"Shhh now, don't cry sweetie."

"I can't help it. It's the worst thing that's ever happened to me."

"Well, now I don't think that's exactly true now, darlin' is it?"

"Of course it is! What do you mean?"

"Uh. Nuttin' of course. Shh. There now. You'll be alright."

"I'll never be alright! Never! I can't believe she did that to me. I won't forgive her. Ever."

"You're momma meant well, sweets. Really she did."

"Oh I bet she...
