I have chickens. They’ve been our pets for years. We have two grown roosters, Jim, our Dom, and Tractor, our beta. I was sitting outside on the porch last night and the chickens surrounded me. Chilling, eating grub, chirping to each other, and I looked at the wattle on Jim’s face and was thunderstruck.
