Happy Birthday: The Chemistry Of Fate, by Meradeth Houston!

To

The Chemistry Of Fate

by Meradeth Houston

“They are everywhere, can be anyone,

and are always the last person you’d expect.”

When Tom stumbles across his grandfather’s journal, he’s convinced the old man was crazier than he thought. The book contains references to beings called the Sary, immortals who are assigned to save humans on the verge of suicide. They certainly aren’t allowed to fall in love with mortals. Which the journal claims Tom’s grandfather di...

PODs ARCs Are in the wind...

PODs ARCs have arrived at the Spencer Hill office and were mailed to US reviewers today! Reviewers outside the US can expect their ARCs to ship early next week (blame customs on the delay, sorry!).

I'm so excited that PODs is finally out in the world and I can't wait to hear everyone's thoughts and comments about the story, but I'm so very, very nervous at the same time.

I hope you enjoy!

Here's your virtual snack to have while you read PODs. Have fun!

PODs Teaser Tuesday

Okay, it's time for another teaser. I couldn't decide which passage to share this week so I decided to share a song from the playlist. This song relates to Eva in three areas of the book. One time is obvious. It's when she leaves her parents to enter the PODs, but the other two...well, you might be surprised what they are.

Happy Reading,

Also find PODs at Barnes and Noble, The Book Depository.com or Wal-Mart

Thoughts on: The Truth About You and Me by Amanda Grace

The Truth About You and Me The Truth About You and Me by Amanda Grace

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

I had such high expectations for The Truth About You and Me. The synopsis sounded wonderful—a story of forbidden love. But I don’t feel that’s what the book was about at all. So if you are looking for a “romance” this is not the book for you. This is a book about finding oneself. Learning to break away from what is expected of you and live your own life. It is not a romance, in my opinion, although romance is a sub-plot.

Thoughts on Dare You To by Katie McGarry

Dare You To (Pushing the Limits, #2) Dare You To by Katie McGarry

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There are things happening in Dare You To on so many levels it makes writing a review difficult. I don’t want to give too much of the story away in my review. I want the reader to experience the full ride of emotions as they read the book. The characters have layers of emotions for the reader to examine; the story has so much depth to it, beyond what one would expect in a normal young adult romance. It’s quite a ride, but a great one!

Teaser Tuesday

It's Tuesday so here's another short teaser from PODs. This is a small glimpse of a sweet scene between David and Eva...

I scooted down and moved his arm around me. We lay on our backs on the floor, looking up at the ceiling.

"You ever think of what things would be like without the virus?" David asked.

"A lot. Why?"

"If the virus hadn't hit we might never have met."

"I know," I said, running my fingers through his hair.

"If there's one good thing that comes from this whole thing,...
