PODs Teaser Tuesday...

It's less than three weeks until PODs releases and I thought it was time for another teaser...

We packed up what was salvageable in the camp. The tents were ripped and unusable and most of the water was gone, running like mini-rivers across the ground.

"What now?"

"We walk to the next town and see if there's a Wal-Mart or sporting goods store that hasn't been looted so we can get some supplies," David said.

I stood in the small clearing and looked around. Everyone was...

Runes Trailer Reveal and Giveaway!

I'm so excited to be involved with Ednah Walter's Trailer Launch for her newest release Runes!

[image error] Seventeen-year-old Raine Cooper has enough on her plate dealing with her father’s disappearance, her mother’s erratic behavior and the possibility of her boyfriend relocating. The last thing she needs is Torin St. James—a mysterious new neighbor with a wicked smile and uncanny way of reading her.

Raine is drawn to Torin’s dark sexiness against her better judgment, until he saves her life...

Lex and Ember visit from Extracted by Tyler Jolley and Sherry Ficklin!!

Hey eveyone! I've got a treat for you today. I originally asked Tyler and Sherry for an interview about their new release, Extracted through Spencer Hill Press, releasing in November. But, Whoa! Did we get a surprise! Lex and Ember decided they wanted to be interviewed and pushed Sherry and Tyler out of the way...so I went with it. Here's my interview with Lex and Ember of Extracted...

Let's cut to the chase, are either of you single?

Ember - Um, I suppose not. Sort of. It’s complicate...

My thoughts on Extreme Love by Abby Niles

Extreme Love Extreme Love by Abby Niles

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

My thoughts after reading Extreme Love by Abby Niles

Nearly every woman, unless she’s a supermodel, can think of a guy she felt completely flustered being around. The guy who she felt was totally out of her league. Who made her hands shake, heart flutter and stomach quiver whenever he was around. Just being in the same room with him was more stressful than a root canal. Well, that’s Dante “Inferno” Jones to Caitlyn Moore. He’s the toned,...

Of Silver And Beasts by Trisha Wolfe

My thoughts after reading Of Silver and Beasts...

Of Silver and Beasts was the first novel by Trisha Wolfe that I’ve read. I’m glad it was. I didn’t start the book with any preconceived notions of what to expect from her. I didn’t know her writing style, characterization, and it was the first time I’d read a true dark fantasy. So I really got to feel the full experience Of Silver and Beasts right from the beginning. And I loved it.

I can usually tell by the first sentence, or at lea...

My thoughts on "True" by Erin McCarthy

True True by Erin McCarthy

4 1/2 Stars

I enjoyed “True”  more than I thought I would. I didn’t think I’d relate to the idea of “hiring” someone to sleep with your friend just so she could lose her virginity—and I was right. I didn’t. I thought that part of the story was completely out of place. It just didn’t fit. Setting someone up with a guy with the intention/hope that they might move on to that stage in their relationship, okay I can buy that. But hiring him? Hello, male gigolo. But wha...

PODs...one month and counting

I can't believe the release date for PODs is just one month away! Here's another teaser and song from the playlist...

I woke when I felt the bed sag beside me. I didn't look--I knew it was David. He snuggled behind me, wrapping his arm around my waist. He didn't say anything. I drifted into a peaceful sleep, knowing David was close.

He was gone when I woke. It was still black outside, with a pale dusting of moonlight outlining the window. I sat up in the bed, the springs in the old matt...

Cover Reveal: Working It Out by Rachael Anderson

Author Rachael Renee Anderson

Rachael Anderson is the author of four books: Divinely Designed, Luck of the Draw, Minor Adjustments, and The Reluctant Bachelorette. She's the mother of four and is pretty good at breaking up fights, or at least sending guilty parties to their rooms. She can't sing, doesn't dance, and despises tragedies. But she recently figured out how yeast works and can now make homemade bread, which she is really good at eating.

Of Silver And Beasts by Trisha Wolfe

***Excerpt*** “What’s your rank, baby blue eyes?” the guy asks, pushing off his cot and stalking toward the prince.

Everything in me screams to act, but I don’t want to declare alliances this early on. Not without understanding the dynamic of placements and bonds already formed among these people. But I’ll not let this hulk of a man harm the prince. I brace my heel against the wall, ready to push off and lunge.

Prince Caben rises to his feet, slowly turning to face him. He straightens his spi...
