Sunday, Funday

Hello, friends! I’m in a great mood today, if you couldn’t tell. *smiles* I guess I woke up on the right side of the bed, despite the time change. Total shocker, because I was expecting to be all grumpy but here it is 10am and I’ve cleaned the kitchen, ran (and emptied) the dishwasher, and will be doing my second load of laundry after this posts. Exciting life I lead, eh? * *sighs* Either way, with all the chores out...

A Day Late: ROW80 Update

So. I had a half day yesterday and totally intended to post my update. This was my plan because I didn’t get to post Sunday (this is my normal ROW80 update day) because I was compiling my MS into Scrivener. (More on this later…) Like I said–yesterday I worked a half-day. Time to post, right? Nope. I still forgot. Well, no, I can’t say I forgot. I was lost in a sea of cover design blogs, trying to find the...

Where, Oh Where Did My Last ROW80 Post Go?

Have you ever scheduled a post to go up and then realize, a week later, it didn’t go up? Yeah…that happened. I had written a post on the evening of the 4th, scheduled it for the 5th, and it never went anywhere. It’s still sitting there as a draft. Oh well! No use crying over spilled milk; I’m just going to carry on. The last couple weeks have had me in a bit of stasis when it comes to writing...

ROW80 Update: A Plan Interrupted

Remember what I said last week about life being a pain in the neck (to paraphrase, of course) and how it often gets in the way of our nice, ordered plans? Yeah, that happened. Already! Remember that Florida trip I mentioned in my previous post? I went and it was awesome! I got home and had one day to settle in before heading to a two-day training in Albany, where I came down with some horrible combo of strep and bronchitis....

ROW80 Update: When Planning Takes Over Action

I’m a planner in all things. I have a Happy Planner to keep my days and week organized. I have a more traditional bullet journal for my writing/blogging goals (and personal collections like books read, work outs, etc). I even have a traveler’s notebook I take with me when I, well, travel, to journal in. I like organization, can you tell?

L is for…Losing Steam….

Or beinglazy. Or maybe over-loaded. Or…I’m out of ‘L’ words already. *sighs* Twelve letters in to the challenge and I’m getting freaked out, overwhelmed, and trying not to give in to the urge to run around like a chicken with my head cut off. So to stay sane I’m throwing my challenge out the window. Read More ...

Journaling is how I begin my writing process and is important part of my life in other ways, as well. Some have lists while others have complete narratives about stories I’m working Read More ...
