I loved your review! I'm so glad you enjoyed The Surrender Trilogy. As of right now, I have a character named Abigail who has actually seen rougher times than Evelyn, but that's because her story takes place long ago. She's tough as nails and sweet as pie. It's a work in progress and I can't give away too much, but when her story's finished I think you'll love her. As far as wealthy heroes go, yes, I have a story that will be coming out in the next year. He is a man with many names, but prefers to be called "Mr. Stone". That's all I can say on that ;)
Thanks so much for reading! I hope you enjoy some of my other stories as well.
Take care,

We Came. We Read. We Came Again.

WE SURVIVED. BARELY. 🍷📖🔥

This year? Absolute chaos—in the best possible way.

We laughed. We cringed. We trauma-bonded over morally gray men with anger issues and magical d**ks. We said “just one more chapter” and looked up four hours later, emotionally wrecked, mascara on our pillows, questioning our

“Life, when it was good, was indeed pink. La vie en rose.”
Lydia Michaels, La Vie en Rose: Life in Pink
tags: life, love, pink

“All of my life I’ve had one cardinal rule: the only person I can trust is myself. I’m the only person I can count on to truly look out for me without ulterior motives. That’s what I’m doing now, looking out. I don’t need your hotel. I don’t need your damn limo to give me a ride. And I don’t need you.” He stared at her, a blank expression on his face for a long moment. Finally, he whispered, “But I need you.”
Lydia Michaels, Coming Home

“And it will be a great boon to your friend. He’ll get the security he’s been searching for, the

confidence he never had, and I’ll get the rest of my life with you. Sometimes victory is won by

surrendering something great. And in surrender, we unburden ourselves so clarity can come through.

We’re all just men hiding behind curtains and impressive toys, Evelyn. He can have whatever trinket

validates his struggles, but he’ll never have your heart. That’s mine. I’ll surrender everything, except for you.”

Lydia Michaels, Wake My Heart

“The man could make stone malleable. Somehow he was changing her without fully breaking her. Perhaps that was how he obtained his power. Shatter the victims right from the start, so the slightest show of kindness felt like the greatest relief.”
