Let’s take a ride on Pirates of the Caribbean shortly after the ride opened in 1967. The original “Lust” sequence is still in place. I also have the original ride audio if you want to give it a listen!

Can we honestly discuss this. Look at this beautiful accurate portrayal of an Ancient Kemit (Egyptian) Queen. She looks like an Ethereal Goddess.

Carpe Noctem Magazine 20th Anniversary Edition
We’re bringing back the premier dark art magazine of the ‘90’s with updates on previous features as well as new interviews from today.
Wow — it’s only been a day and a half, and it’s already closing in on nearly 30% funded! This is a project that is well worth your time to investigate and plunk down a dollar or so to fund; especially in the era of Reddit and Tumblr, Carpe Noctem fuels the craving for alt culture in a magazine format, covering a wide range of topics and guests and so much more than that. This has been a serious pleasure to help work on and produce, so come check it out and show some love!

So at first I was like, okay, I’m done playing this game. Then I decided, hey, why not try out the survival mode?
Sometimes I think I just punish myself with these games.

HEY
HEY GUYS
For those of you who don’t know, this little magazine from the mid-90’s called CARPE NOCTEM is prepping a Kickstarter tomorrow to fund its 20th anniversary issue. Carpe Noctem was a mag that dove into subculture, goth culture, and featured interviews, artwork, and articles that profiled creative individuals that was ahead of its time. I’ve had the honor of working alongside Thom and Cat Carnell as they’d worked hard over the past couple of years to revisit their work, and to get to this point where they’re ready to bring new material and content to the internet. Some of the individuals they’ve interviewed and featured include Clive Barker, Joe Jusko, and even neil-gaiman (hope you don’t mind me tagging you Neil!). Carpe Noctem, for me, provided a different perspective from the ground up, a fan magazine for the fans by fans themselves. Reading over old interviews and editing transcripts, it’s been a pleasure to help get this into place; I even had the pleasure of doing a follow up interview with Joe Jusko, and I’m proud to have it be in the 20th anniversary mag.
Click the link to like the Facebook page, and stay tuned tomorrow for the link to the official Kickstarter page. It’s gonna be really exciting, and I can’t wait to see the final product come to life.
