Carpe Noctem Magazine 20th Anniversary Edition:Dark Art Zine
We’re bringing back the premier dark art magazine of the ‘90’s with updates on previous features as well as new interviews from today.
Just wanted to bring this back around: Carpe Noctem’s 20th Anniversary Kickstarter is up to 66% funded and with a little over two weeks left to go, this is where crunch time starts to get set up. Stretch goals are being formulated, but as of right now, we’re looking to get that last 34% into the funding. Just under $1400.
As someone who’s working on the project behind the scenes, I can promise some fantastic, in-depth interviews with people like Joe Jusko, Christine Paszitzky, Caitlin Kiernan, and others. I did the interview with Jusko myself, a first for me, and I really enjoyed being able to pick the brain of the artist behind the Marvel Masterwork series. Remember those when they came out in 1992? Yeah, THAT Joe Jusko. It was a treat, and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
But more than that, I’ve had the opportunity to read the interviews and edit them and see step-by-step as it all comes together. If you’re interested in dark fantasy, horror, or the creative process at all, come check this out and pledge. We’re getting there, but resting comfortably is something that the Carpe Noctem crew doesn’t do.
