We’ll go over Asimov’s Rules of Robotics and the Positronic Brain on through what the differences are between robots, androids and cyborgs. We’ll also be looking at robots being used as tools, robots as surrogates, robots as villains… Heck, we may even get into the nature of Good and Evil. Oh, and we’ll talk about a film or two. Yes, we’re talking automated men on this episode of The Bonus Material Podcast!

This is good shit, fellow sci-fi fans!

How to Make an RPG : Puzzles

Hello,

Ever wanted to know how games are made? Or write your own RPG?

It’s pretty hard to get started, there’s not much good information on the internet or from books! The games industry isn terrible at sharing knowledge. This stuff is hard to discover on your own!

I’ve been working in the games industry for a long time now and I’m writing a book that shows, step by step, how to make a full featured game from scratch.

Here’s a link to the book page if you want to buy it when it’s released: How to Make an RPG.

I like RPGs, I know a lot of people try to make an RPG as their first game! But their quite hard and most people don’t finish. Building an old school JRPG from scratch teaches you so much and it’s a great baseline to move on to more ambitious games. Many modern RPGs are basically the same as the older games with far better graphics.

Anyway! I’m still writing the book but I’m getting towards the end. This little video shows a simple puzzle from the final chapter. For the purposes of the book I keep things simple but you get the knowledge that let’s you make as intricate an RPG as you want.

Thanks for reading!

Help me out by sharing this post!

Ahoy! King Chris here, and today we’re finally setting up the beginnings of our new colony on Aestival! For those of you curious as to what this entails, I’ve made sure to go over a bit of what is needed to propagate and populate said colony, as well as what one needs in order to get it all the way into Nation status!

Cor. I might just beat this game, yet.

Warrior Culture : SPQR

SPQR stands for “The Senate and People of Rome” and was Emblazoned on the standards of Roman Legions. The Roman Legionary was arguably the most disciplined and professional fighting force of the age.

Jesus fucking Chris, Julius Caesar was a badass.
