ufansius:

Watch set into a single Colombian emerald crystal, circa 1600; the watch is part of the Cheapside Hoard, a cache of jewels and jewelry buried since the Great Fire of London in 1666 and rediscovered in 1912.

More from the Hoard , here, here, and here.

Yesterday I announced my new novel and Kickstarter project: Dust McAlan and the Curse of the Iron Skull. In case you missed that, you can click on the link and watch the video to see what it’s about, but in the meantime, here’s the delicious teaser image illustrated by Casey Burch. So very, very excited for this book to move forward, so stay tuned for more info!

thecaliforniakings:

Ahoy, Zailors! King Chris here once more, this time with a venture to the Principles of Coral to finish the “An Extra Move” storyline, and also dropping of Blemmigans for the Uttershroom. This is all for the benefit of the First Curator, and the completion of the Neathbow. Unfortunately, during the best part of the adventure the video wasn’t recording, but the audio was. So, perhaps you all will enjoy the sultry sounds of my voice as I read what happens, and perhaps the descriptions will drive you to seek out the Neathbow for yourselves! Enjoy!
