3. Writing fuel

.

Don’t be fooled by the banana: it’s usually something sweet fort breakfast. I don’t even like bananas that much, but I recently made banana pudding, and this is a leftover from that. In fact, that pudding is why I’m saving my sugar and calories for later tonight.

.

And what the hell is going on in that second pic– Lorna!

If you're poor, homeless, just hungry, or know someone who is, go to a Sikh temple for "langar." a free meal is served to all the visitors, without distinction of religion, caste, gender, economic status or ethnicity.

lifepro-tips:

You don’t need to be poor or homeless, but this seems like it will benefit those who are the most.

I wasn’t sure whether this fit food & drink or money &
finance, but since I’m focusing more on money I guess it’s the latter.

In Edinburgh, the Sikhs set up every Wednesday at 6pm-ish at the Royal Mile/North Bridge. Their food is delicious and they often have tea and coffee available too. All free, and they’re such sweet people.

If American Girl came out with one of those Smart Girl’s Guide type books for just like adulthood and life in general, I’d probably be the first in line to buy it.

I have to go back to the office

It’s hard work scraping together enough money doing something one loves, so my temporary relief from office work has come to a halting stop (halting because I took a few temp jobs in the interim).

While I finally feel calm enough to get some writing done (and currently putting the last few sentences on one of the most difficult chapters I’ve written thus far), free time is always in short supply, and my gas bill isn’t something I can ignore.

I’ll still be uploading chapters as I do them – hoping I can still get one out every two weeks, but I can’t guarantee anything. Your support means so much to me, and I hope I can continue bringing you quality content for cheap or free.

Molly knows how to make friends.

I’m so happy that both Molly and Nanea love Nancy Drew. Those books were such a huge part of my childhood (I even made one for Julie to take the series all the way through the decades).

.

And to keep my girls after my own heart, Molly of course carries a mystery novel instead of school books in her satchel

The final, brilliant word on passive voice.

“She was killed [by zombies.]”

“Zombies killed [by zombies] her.”

This is legit one of the best ways to identify passive voice.
