Trading With God



Most of our misery we bring on ourselves.  Or maybe I should say "keep" ourselves.  I'm not saying we CAUSE the bad things to happen to us, but we do CHOOSE how we deal with them.  For every action there is a reaction.  For every choice there is a consequence.  We just have to learn to "Act" and "Choose" the right things for our lives.  We have to learn where to go to get those right things.



Think how different our lives would be if we chose to "TAKE" all the Weaknesses, Diseases, Insecurites, Pain, Anger, Depression, Fears, Grief, Lonliness, and Uncertainty that we allow to control our daily lives, and "TRADED" them to God for Trust, Hope, Thankfulness, Joy, Faith, Contentment, Love, and Peace .  Then we would be allowing God to control our days.  It would cause us to draw us closer to Him.  We would be CHOOSING to live in His Presence.  The more we focus on Him, the less we focus on ourselves.  We will no longer be consumed with feeling weak, we will be encouraged by feeling strong.



We owe it to God to be the BEST we can be every day, with His Mercy and Grace paving our way.  We are to strive to be more like Jesus and less like us every day.  He is with us every minute of our lives.  We will face NOTHING alone.  We need ot stop looking to the world to give us life.  We are to be "in the world," but not "of the world."  Jesus came to this earth to give us ABUNDANT LIFE .  Not just to barely give us enough life, but ABUNDANTLY MORE THAN ENOUGH.



I'm ready to start "TRADING WITH GOD," how about you?  After all, who's life are we really living?  Is it Our Life, or God's Life?

Be careful not to feel superior when you lend someone a helping hand.

You never know when you may find yourself on the other end of that hand.

Thank God when things don't go your way,

because His Blessings sometimes come

Your weaknesses, Wounds, and Brokenness are avenues

for the light of God's Glory to shine through.

Praise Him In ALL Things!   ~tf

God IS Love.

We need to get a grasp on that.

Simple, and oh so complex.

God IS Love.

Love is NOT an emotion or a feeling.

Love is ALIVE.

Love is ACTION.

Love is God.

I am quickly, (tomorrow morning), coming up on an Anniversary that I don't like to celebrate.

The first paragraph of my book is where it all began...



"to remember love"

The words in this book were born out of a deep, black, bottomless hole

that bore its way through my heart on January 13, 1998, at 7:57 a.m.  A

hole that went to the depths of my soul and will never be filled back in. 

A hole just a real and unexplainable as each unique sunrise that we

experience every day.  A hole always meant to be seen and felt, but

never meant to consume, destroy or bury me in.   ~tf
